it has been on my mind for so long and i’m dying just thinking about it.

keith (who lives in a nice western town) being a helpful neighbor and always patching things up

keith has a HUGE APPETITE but he’s kinda picky.

his food motto is “try everything at least once. if i don’t like it i’m never having it AGAIN!”

he doesn’t like biscuits and gravy (or gravy at all)

his favorite quick breakfast is a bagel with cream cheese and jelly (strawberry only)

he’ll eat anybody’s food even if he hates it because he’s too nice to say no. (with a, “this is a lovely meal. thank you.”)

keith do be having a mullet & a cowboy hat.

when he wears his cowboy hat, little tufts of hair peek out near his neck.

when he takes off his cowboy hat, his hair is always a frizzy mess but it still looks SO GOOD

when he greets people, like the gentleman he is, he’ll take off his hat and press it to his chest and bow his head. (with a, “mornin’, missus!” or a “good day, sir!”)

he takes his hat off every time he walks into a building or someone’s home, like a gentleman should.

lance mcclain is a boy from the city and keith has never been so endeared.

lance moves south for reasons unknown.

lance moves into the house near keith and his land, and k brings l apple pie as a welcome gift.

k nearly drops the damn pie when l opens his door. even with a screen door between them, k can see him oh so clearly.

unable to stop himself, k whistles low and says— “well aren’t you just as pretty as a peach.”

l nearly faints and dies from how soft he felt and k holds out his pie with a lopsided grin: “welcome to Altea.”

k constantly calls l things like Sugar, Darlin’, and Sweetheart. keith never uses names like that, but it’s worth it to see the blush in lance’s cheeks.

lance has the brightest and prettiest smile keith has ever seen, but keith knows when the devil hangs on somebody’s shoulder with only a glance.

keith is determined to destroy whatever evil is shadowing lance. his scout’s honor.

FUCK YEAH! imagine:

pidge as honey lemon! a nerdy geek who likes computers and science. and would totally make a weapon that involves hacking shit. idk i’m mot techy. but pidge would be the youngest and keith would be hella protective because she’s precious.

hunk as wasabi! hella techy and super done with everyone’s shit. he’s just tryna have a good time and feed everyone and make sure they don’t DIE. (“maybe we shouldn’t go fight guys... maybe we should have a sleepover instead!”)

lance as probably fred or maybe go-go? because he’s silly and a jokester, but extremely good at what he does! (in this case he’s a badass athlete-scientist). and he’s just out here to protect the people he loves and to make his mama proud. he and keith are best buds from the get-go and lance is there as a helping hand and shoulder.

keith as hiro! missing an older brother with no parents and traumatized because of tadashi’s ‘death’ (in this case, shiro would still end up alive because we don’t hate ourselves). real hotheaded and wants to kill the fucker who killed his brother and struggles with the morality of it all. struggles with emotions, but has a connection with a robot of all things.

shiro as tadashi! a good older brother who wants to push his kid brother to do his best, not hang out in the streets with wasted talent. taken advantage of by some evil sciencst bitch and just wants to take care of the people he loves. smart, strong, and super selfless.

obvi allura and coran would probably be added characters but SO WHAT its perfect still.
