to the butches who didnât realize until they were adults that it was okay to embrace masculinity, the butches who are still figuring it out, the butches who are afraid theyâre not ârealâ butches because they havenât known their whole lives. Â
itâs okay if you didnât always know, it doesnât make you any less butch. what matters is that you know now, and you can finally start to express yourself and learn what feels right for you. discovering and embracing your butchness is about freedom, about what makes you happy, and you donât have to prove to anyone else that youâre butch enough. you are butch enough.Â
