The company has settled a lawsuit over ‘forever chemicals’, raising the question: why is it so hard to find quality menstrual products?

I just want to clarify this a bit in case people didn’t read the Guardian article:

The “toxic” materials in question are PFAS, which scientists are worried about since they take a very, very long time to break down. They’re found in a lot of household materials, for the record, most notably non-stick pans.

The levels in the Thinx underwear are very low. No negative health effects have been reported. It sounds like a false advertising suit rather than a lawsuit based on ill health effects.

If you still want to get rid of your Thinx for the sake of your health, I understand and respect your decision. You should absolutely have a right to know what is going in or on your body. BUT we also need to be realistic about what is actually happening.
