From today’s walk on the foreshore. I’m particularly happy to get the fieldfare photo - something I didn’t manage last winter. Still hopeful of a waxwing visit.

Turned out to be a flying scarecrow! Apparently it’s called the “Scare’m”. It scares the bejasus out of pigeons, crows and gulls. Certainly had me fooled!

Saw this from a distance and got really excited as I couldn’t recognise the large raptor hovering over some @gricultural land.
