dw this doesnt sound negative, heres a couple reasons:

reach (although this isnt something i particularly care about)

easier access to discussion of topics im interested in (mostly videogames but also other stuff like events)

looooooooots of art, the FYP there as abhorrent as it is of a site can be curated well to make it show you what you want

bigger communities, although this is a double edged sword

theres lots of people there, which is good if you find your own niches or if you are looking into that kind of thing, but because of that theres also a lot of annoying people, and we are living in an era where your opinion must be voiced at all times, apparently

i personalize my twt experience as much as possible, i block and mute freely left and right, saw you on a thread commenting something stupid? blocked, dont even care if we are never crossing paths

(sorry for rant ive seen too many people in spaces im active on on tumblr be genuine fucking brainlets recently and its actually driving me insane and making me sick)

i havent checked if the person that said played it or not but if they cant go through the effort of checking it out themselves... the entitlement of the wording is also what pisses me off

hypothetically maybe they dont like the alternate route my art was representing (because that was a comment on my art), but even then like then why ask? if you care enough about the piece of media that you clearly are acquianted with then why not just look it up instead of coming to a random post and being like "ehmm guys whats happening lowl"

im all for human connection actually, when someone asks something that can be so easily googled im glad when people reply, in a world that is becoming more distant every day its good to keep the small things like that intact
