“Excuse me sir, are you the knight who saved my life?”

Derek stares out the window of his ship, rubbing his eyes just to double check what he’s seeing is real. God. That’s Stiles’ ship. It’s right there. Derek’s been following lead after lead, visiting planet after planet in search of his lost comrade. And he’s finally done. He’s finally found him. 

Derek presses a few buttons, making sure the air on this planet is safe before running out of his ship. He’s instantly on edge, hearing growls coming from random places. Is Stiles actually here? Is he safe? 

“Stiles?” Derek calls. 

There’s a moment of silence before Stiles comes running towards him from the heavy foliage. There’s mud across his face and is that blood?? But Derek doesn’t care because it’s Stiles and he’s alive. He runs to meet him, pulling the man into his arms. Through all this time, Derek’s had time to think about his feelings and without another thought, his hands find Stiles’ cheeks, cupping his face and kissing him. Stiles melts against him. 

“Derek,” Stiles says with a relieved sigh. “I didn’t think I’d ever see you again.”

“I never stopped looking, Stiles. I’ll follow you through the deepest parts of space.”

Dean Winchester moved to Pontiac, Illinois six months ago when his girlfriend Carmen got a new job. Unfortunately for Dean, Carmen then left him for her boss, so he needs to find a roommate ASAP. Castiel Novak needs to move out of his brother’s house before his niece is born, and when he finds Dean’s ad on Craigslist, it seems like the perfect solution for both of them.
