What if Grace made a lopsided crochet Rocky and cuddled it every night.

What if Rocky couldn’t stop making xenonite puppets of his alien friend.

So Grace 1000% starts picking up and mimicking Eridian noises.

One day, Rocky will be working on something, only to freeze as he hears Grace behind him suddenly exclaim in fluent Eridian "SHIT!"

Rocky counting/doing math with his fingers. Omg it was the coolest thing ever to realize. Maybe I’m the only one who didn’t notice, but when I did I started freaking out. Every time he does something with numbers he uses his fingers!! Sometimes it’s obvious he’s working with numbers and other times it’s not. When he was telling Grace how many Eridians used to be on his ship, he counted out 23 (35 in base 6) on his hand. Also, when Grace had just told Rocky he wasn’t going home and was walking away, it pans to Rocky fiddling with his fingers. He was doing the math to see how much astrophage he would have left if he gave some to Grace and how much slower he would be. OMG.
