An aircraft is attached with multiple FPRBs (Floating Pinger Recorder Beacon). Each one is equipped with;

A Beacon

A Ping Receptor

A Recorder

GPS

Multiple FPRBs are fitted into the Aircraft with a mechanism to activate in an event of a crash into the water/ ocean.

When the aircraft crashes into the water and drowns, the FPRBs would automatically activate and blast off the aircraft and starts float on the water.

FPRBs then starts receiving and recording ULB pings and also they will start their own pinging too.

The search teams pick up pings from multiple FPRBs locate them.

It's ok, bunk a few classes, scoring low in couple of papers, goof up a few interviews, take leave from work, fall in love, little fights with your spouse. We are people, not programmed devices....
