Alright, folks, today's the day! It's time to vote for your favorites for the Harry/Ginny Valentine's Day Fest 2019!

Ok...now for the tough stuff. 

Due to an unforeseen complication, I am requiring email sign-ins to vote (and please don’t ask for details, because it was crazy enough to deal with once). I understand that this is not ideal, and I do apologize. However, this is truly the best option for preserving the integrity of the voting system and respecting the value of the hard work that went into this endeavor. 

It is, of course, well within your rights to choose not to vote if that makes you more comfortable. I wish things didn’t have to be this way, but unfortunately that’s where we are. All I can promise is that next time, I’ll be better at this. And that I’ll make more specific rules. 

To prove my impartiality, I will display the raw graph/data results after voting is complete. By requiring a sign-in, *all* I will have access to is your email address-- but NO information at will be shared, regardless.

I’ve also changed the rules to clarify that a drabble is between 500-1000 words and a one-shot is over 1000. (I’m new at this, please forgive me!)

There are only 7 days left to submit entries for the 2019 Harry/Ginny Valentine’s Day Fest! We’ve had some lovely submissions so far, but every award is still up for grabs! Please work on getting those submissions in ASAP so we can all enjoy your amazing work! 😊

Hello, lovelies! I hope everyone is super excited about submitting entries for the fest! :) 

I just wanted to share two (tiny tiny) things that I’ve changed in regards to the contest. 

First, you will see that there is now an additional submission category-- Best Fluff. I realized it was a little wacky to have Best Dark!Fic and not Best Fluff, so there you go! 

Second, I’ve added another rule to prevent potential trolls from crashing our H/G party: 

“Rule 8: We reserve the right to reject any stories that are deliberately trolling/designed to create unnecessary drama/attempting to bash other characters. (C'mon people...these rules are loose because we don't want to stifle creativity, but please don't abuse the level of leniency here.)”

I don’t expect that this will make a huge difference for those of us who have heard about this so far, but it’s better to cover our bases. 

Can’t wait to see what everyone’s working on! :D
