Fuckbuddies for sure. I could see the two actually dating for a little after Agatha&Rio broke up, but they probably broke it off after only a few weeks or so bc they are SO DIFFERENT personality wise. Jen is a healer, Agatha’s a killer. And she’s a little.. Agatha, if you know what I mean 😭

I totally agree with your take on Rio when it comes to gender. Why would it care about any social constructs of any specific species 🤷🏻‍♂️.

Which also plays into her thoughts on ‘morality’ IMO like ok so no your ‘god’ says this is right and this is wrong but like I could care less. She doesn’t care that Agatha kills not because they like people dying (also don’t care just part of the job) but because like not some evil thing it’s just the way the cycle works 🤷🏻‍♂️

What are your thoughts on that body? That ‘form’ really. She can take many, any. Yet when she is in it does it end up being the same. Does it take a certain amount of time in it or is it always? Like I love the idea of her having to ‘take care of it’ like eat and sleep and what not when staying in it for sometime not because could die cuz obviously not but just so uncomfortable like I don’t need to eat to live but being in a body that’s starving just is uncomfortable for to long 😅

I think the most plausible explanation for her getting a body was that she took it from someone who had died. Some fics I’ve read explored this— where she moved someone forward but kept their body afterwards.

I’m sure she has had multiple bodies in the past, because she had to of had something with skin and bones to be a good buffer for both the human realm and the afterlife. I mean, imagine how fucking scary it would be if your ride to the afterlife was just a boney skeleton with a green crown; Rio’s job was to make them at least a little “comfortable” in their new home. What better way to make someone comfortable than to look like someone they would know?

Before Agatha, and since I don’t believe Rio would care about pronouns, gender, or any sort of “attractiveness”, I’m sure she took at least one or two bodies that were both men and women. When trying to appeal to Agatha, I like to think she tried on so many more until she landed on the right one, which we know as her in the show.

I’d assume she kept that body from whenever she first met Agatha to present day, and that she can sleep, and eat, and breathe, but it’s either less important or she doesn’t have to do it all together. However, I do like your hc that if she doesn’t, she won’t die, but the body will. Maybe that’s happened before with one of her forms, so she eats just enough and sleeps just enough to survive— for Agatha. It’s her first time being human too, let her watch her wife kinda creepily while she sleeps. We’ve all done it.

Rio, in my opinion, isn't an angel nor a devil. She just is. She exists outside of every binary, every dimension, every standard we have for one another as human beings. She doesn't disrupt the balance, (or at least tries not to) she keeps herself to her own space, she lets everyone else be as the hundreds of millions of years go on.

She is, to simply put it, the uber you take from where you died to wherever she takes you afterwards. She escorts you but she doesn't have an opinion. Before Agatha, I don't believe she even had any sort of opinion about the people she beckoned forward because she isn't a person; she most likely didn't think like one, so I'd assume she wasn't putting the energy into "thinking" of an "opinion" when there wasn't a point, if she even knew what an opinion was. She had one thing to do, her job, and that was that.

Though, I could see her beginning to resent some of the people she had to accompany to the afterlife after Agatha. Mostly bad, ugly, or really annoying men.

I think it would depend on the context on the meet.

For someone who she wanted to take power from, I think she would put on a persona much like she did in episode two. She’s SO dramatic, so I’d imagine different accents, outfits, hairstyles, personalities, really anything that would aid in accomplishing her goal. I could see her being sickly sweet to some and a cocky little menace to others, depending on what she believed would get her the thing she wanted in the end— power.

I have this silly little hc that Agatha sunk the Titanic as a sort of gift to Rio, but before that, they stayed on the ship. So they danced, ate food, etc whatever whatever. I think if someone came up to her when she was with Rio, maybe drinking or talking, she would be disinterested and she’d probably even come off rude as well- unless that person was offering her something or there was something to gain from the conversation.

I mean canonically, Rio doesn’t have lungs. So if she’d learn to burp from Agatha since burping is something we just do, I think she’d win solely based on her lung capacity.
