i think we should add media literacy to the water supply

the human body is an engineering marvel. I sneeze in bright light. if I dont get enough sunlight on my skin I get tired and sad and have to drink a lot of milk to fix it. standing too much hurts, but sitting too much also hurts. if I get a virus, my body will increase its temperature in an attempt to cook it, which also cooks my brain cells. toenails exist. I have to turn the radio down to see better when I drive. there are 17 genes dictating what my hair texture is, but it completely changes when the air is too humid. yawning is contagious. there are more species of bacteria living in my body than there are species of birds in the entire world. every few months I grievously injure my neck by “sleeping on it weird.” it took seven million years of human evolution to form me, and now I’m afraid of phone calls.

I am afflicted by Nuance. I fear it may be terminal. well okay, not necessarily "terminal" per se, but

stuck in the time loop but i just use it as a free day off. im not even trying to get out. i am teaching myself to knit. i am crocheting. i am cooking. not even doing anything crazy. just escaping capitalism for a week. day 375 and im not sure what lesson it's trying to teach but i've taught myself to handmake lace so all is well

some of you do NOT remember summer ‘09 and it shows

IDK what this is about, but I have a reasonable explanation for not remembering the summer of '09; I had bad insomnia that started when my parents got divorced at the beginning of the year, and it wasn't resolved until June of 2010 when I started getting my period.

i did not once ever have a full night’s sleep from 2013-2015. nothing new to say that hasn’t already been said but it was so fucking fun being a one direction fan while they were still releasing albums/touring. can’t even put it into words or describe it. u were constantly terrorized while also having the best time of ur life.

i think like. we knew them when they were so young. and even as we’ve watched them grow up and reveal more of themselves and make mistakes and prove themselves fallible the way we didn’t see as starry eyed young fans. it’s really hard because there’s a facet of me that has immortalized them in my mind as the 15/17/18 year olds on the stairs on a tv show. really young faces and big dreams you know. and it’s like. now one of them is dead? he lived to be a really troubled man and now he’s dead? but i was just listening to him sing to me about first love
