Harrison James Lee was born in a town near Vancouver, BC in Canada. His mother's family lived in China, although his grandmother was of Hawaiian descent, and moved to Canada when his mother was very young. As a young woman, she took a receptionist job at a hotel in the down town area owned by a wealthy Canadian man who found himself drawn to her beauty. A year after they married, Harrison came along. When he was four years old, they had a baby girl who was born with Cerebral Palsy, a disability that effected her physical and mental development. Harrison's sister Jane spent much of her childhood in hospitals needing many surgeries and medical procedures. When he was seven years old and Jane was three, their father decided that her needs were too much, and he divorced their mother. He made very little effort to stay in contact with his children and ended up remarrying and starting a new life, eventually writing off Harrison and his sister completely.
His father's absence effected the family financially and his mother worked multiple jobs to get by, often relying on Harrison to take care of Jane while they struggled to find the means to get help outside of the family. Despite having the added responsibility Harrison was always loving and protective towards his sister. Around age twelve, looking for an outlet outside of his busy life, Harrison developed a fascination with motorcycles after attending a live sporting event. He spent the next year working odd jobs and saving up as much as he could until he had enough to buy a second hand dirtbike. His mother strongly disapproved and feared he would get hurt, so she came to the compromise of hiring a coach to help him learn to ride properly so that he could compete in races. He started competing at age fourteen, and it wasn't long before he was winning medals and trophies. It became apparent that he may have a promising career in the sport by the time he was in high school.
It was during these years that Harrison began his first serious relationship with a girl at his school named Nancy who happened to be an exchange student, and lived in Vermont, in America. Although they spent a lot of time bickering they were deeply in love and nearly inseparable. After two years of dating and knowing that Nancy would eventually have to go back home, they talked about the possibility of going to Alberta and getting married as they would be of legal age there, and that way Nancy would be able to stay in Canada. While tentatively planning things, Harrison was supposed to compete in a race outside of the city, accompanied by his racing coach. During his time there, the man made an attempt to take advantage of Harrison, and although he managed to escape, he was traumatized by the experience. He was too afraid and ashamed to talk about it to anyone, including his girlfriend. Instead he became angry and pushed her away to the point of breaking up with her and leaving her with no choice but to go home. A decision he would regret for many years to come.
He took some time off from racing, nearly giving it up but decided about a year later to try again, without a coach. At age nineteen he was scouted out by a racing team who wanted him to join their motocross team, however, they were based out of Texas. He ended up leaving home and moving there to race. It wasn't long before Harrison became a fan favorite, known for being aggressive on the tracks and winning many races. By his early twenties, he was going on world tours. He would go on to appear in magazines and do sponsorship ads and it seemed like he was constantly busy and on the road. However in the time that he did manage to find outside of work, he enjoyed the perks of the money and fame to their full extent by partying and sleeping around with female fans. When he was twenty-four he met a woman in Spain while he was racing there and after dating for a short time, he made the spontaneous decision to get married. They bought a house in Texas but their marriage lasted only two years before they divorced when she found out he had cheated on her while on tour. It was a messy divorce and he ended up losing a lot of money. He started drinking more and was eventually dropped from his team for his antics.
Determined to keep racing, Harrison decided to stop his dangerous lifestyle and focus on what he loved the most, which was racing. He stopped drinking and started training harder to learn to ride street bikes instead. At age twenty-eight he began racing for MotoAmerica. He hired a manager named Sarah who he ended up falling for, and he got married for a second time in his thirties. His life seemed calm for the first time in years until he got into a bad accident during a race in 2013, when his bike caught fire after a crash leaving him badly burned on his left arm and torso. He was forced to take some time off, and his recovery took years. During this time, Harrison started making bets on races and developed a serious gambling problem, losing a good portion of his money. When his wife found out, they ended up getting divorced.
He retired in his mid-forties and decided to take some time to himself, with just his bike and the open road. He traveled across the country still doing the odd race for charity events. In 2017 Harrison learned that his mother was very sick and went home to Vancouver. He was there when she passed and worried about the well being of his sister, he bought a home that suited her needs. It became a licensed group home, from there he bought several more homes in Vancouver, and founding a company called The Jennifer Lee Society in memory of his mother. That following year, Harrison was doing a race in Maine, where he met a woman who was on the paramedic team. After flirting with her for a while, he asked her on a date where he learned that she had a young son and was recently divorced. Although there was quite a large age gap between them, Harrison grew to love her and her son and decided to buy a home together. They chose Vermont as their destination as it was a place that had always reminded him of home, and he bought a beautiful house near Primrose Lake in 2019.
However, her ex-husband decided to move there as well to be closer to their son and it was then that he began worrying. He went against his better judgement and proposed to her. She accepted but they faced a lot of problems and fighting because of her relationship with her ex-husband. When it became clear that she still had feelings for him, they decided to end things. While they were still together, Harrison discovered that his ex-girlfriend from highschool, Nancy, lived in the same area when they had a chance encounter one day, which was less than pleasant. Although, after the break up he found himself talking to her more and more and missing the way things use to be with them. After a few months of rekindling a friendship, they started dating again and he got to know her kids. He found himself happy again, at a time when he didn't think it was possible. He is currently designing a line of street bikes for Ducati, and still participates in charitable races several times throughout the year.
