I'm not sure where to ask this exactly, and don't know if it's Tumblr material. But if I, hypothetically, wanted to start a cover band, and wanted to look for people interested in joining said hypothetical cover band, what should I do? How do cover bands / bands in general get made when you don't have 3-4 musician friends hovering around waiting to be asked?

NaNoWriMo 2023
Hello.
It is time again for me to attempt #Nanowrimo and although I will undoubtedly fail once again this year and write a total of -63 words,
I. Am. Going. To. TRY.
And I WILL NOT REST
Until ONE YEAR I SUCCEED.
So here marks day one of Nano. I have half a plot and one fleshed out character (which I came up with 8 years ago). The rest TBD on the way. WISH THIS LITTLE SOLDIER LUCK.
I have also rented a vlogging camera that I hope I will have the courage to use throughout the journey (that will hopefully happen.)

I know it's 8 months into the New Year, but technically it's a few weeks from Rosh Hashanah. So here's my New Year's Pledge:
-If it doesn't feel like Owl City, don't do it.
-If it doesn't feel like one step closer to Aziraphale's bookshop, don't do it.
-If it doesn't feel like there could be Hobbit music playing in the background of any given moment, don't do the thing.
-If it doesn't feel like the warm feeling in your fandom heart, it's not worth it.
Keep working towards the thing. The ultimate goal. The warmth in the "Someday" home that you will create and care for.
Also STOP LOOKING FOR EXCUSES TO NOT WRITE YOUR DAMN BOOK.

Meanwhile aziraphale is living on another planet mentally where he is too busy creating Situations in which he gets to casually touch crowley. 6,000 years 1 brain cell bouncing around between these two
Still stuck on how Aziraphale ate that meat like he was starving. Like he’d been starved for millennia, and he hadn’t even known it, because he’d never once been fed. But we know they don’t have to eat (nor sleep, etc.), so what he’d been starved for is pleasure. Being present in his body, feeling the joys and longings it could feel. Understanding what taste buds were made for. He hadn’t known; he’d never learned to miss it.
Now imagine what a kiss has done to him.
