Here are some illustrations I've been working on in my free time. As I mentioned, I also love Kakashi x Iruka like my other OTP, just like LeeGaa, and I also liked the idea of ​​Hōki Taketori being like their son. Here are some of my headcanons:

- I read that Sarada often stays with Iruka when Sakura is busy, so maybe she's like an older sister to Hōki.

...Okay, I was going to be chill about this, but nope. I'm going to fangirl over this 2.4-second clip for a bit.

When I first watched the new video, I was just delighted to see Noin at all -- she's my favorite character, but gets left out of most of the extra media for this franchise thanks to 1) being female, and 2) piloting a less-exotic MS that doesn't sell high-end gunpla (BANDAI did release a white Taurus kit once in the '90s, though it didn't come with a pilot figure). But on the second watch, a couple of other things struck me.

First, I have to appreciate the animation. Zechs' musculature moves as he lifts his arms. The light on Noin's body changes as she turns. Since the original series often cut corners by animating limbs as separate cels and keeping bodies static, I'm happy to see the effort that went into this short promo.

Second -- and of more interest to those of us (maybe just me? LOL) who, back in the fanfiction dot net era, were deep into expanding on backstory -- this clip settles an old fandom debate. Since Zechs and Noin essentially grew up together in the military, and Zechs didn't start hiding his face until he was a teenager, she'd certainly seen him without his mask when they were young (this has since been canonized via illustrations that accompanied Frozen Teardrop). But while he obviously trusted her with his identity, it was unclear in the original whether he felt comfortable removing the mask in her presence as an adult, or whether she knew just how biseinen he'd become exactly what he looked like. This gives a pretty clear answer.
