does anyone have any idea what is actually going on in house of the dragon? Like the whole entire episode I've just gone "wait who is that ??" "so who is fighting who?" "what the fuck is actually going on??" I only remember the white haired woman and the auburn haired woman used to be friends as kids and the black people with white hair are family of the white haired woman.... maybe this show is not for me.

had my first D&D session and it's everything I hoped it would be!!! I'm a dumb as fuck barbarian called Dick Hard, nickname: Stiffy and one of my companions is a halfling called Magic Mike, nickname: the puppeteer and one of his moves is fisting dead corpses and playing them like a puppet.... which he rolled a natural 20 on and we genuinely convinced the other goblins he was Jeff the Goblin and we convinced them to just go to sleep and then killed them in their sleep... my god it was a wild ride but it couldn't have been more perfect!!! We're all choatic evil and our DM got increasingly more stressed every decision we made. We did end up losing one of our party due to making absolute piss poor decisions and the session ended with the rest of us having only 1 hit point and being stripped of everything only getting a potato sack for clothes and banished from the village... but that's ok 'cause we have eachother (minus John Druid who didn't make it) and that's really all we need.

friend just said "my husband" and the absolute shock I felt at that word... Like I was at the wedding, I saw them get married... but my god the absolute reality check of my age that gave me. My friends are like actually married... and have kids and stuff. Still blows my mind hahaha

we went donating blood with a group of friends yesterday and called ourselves the bloodgang and kept going "bloodgang!" and sticking our fist in the air every time one of us got hooked up on a machine or finished a donation and the nurses loved us

feels good to get payed again, not gonna lie. Literally had no money come in since january so that's 4 months of just spending money and you'd be surprised how much money I've spent while not even doing anything crazy but this month is GREAT because I just got my vacation money which is a whopping 4000€ I did NOT see that coming!!!! on top of my actual pay from my new job so like hello I'm no longer broke and it feels good.

god I just went through old messages with a friend (don't ask me why) butttt I forgot how having data was so different 10 years ago 'cause every other message is her going "send me a text and NOT an imessage pls 'cause I'm out and don't have any data and I won't get the message otherwise" like not joking it's like every 5th message, just her reminding me she's not connected to wifi because she's out of the house and the imessages won't come through so pls just text and then the blue changing to green haha

every once in a while I muster the energy to delete emails because every single person is horrified when they see the notfivation on the app of thousands and thousands of unread emails... Just deleted about 2000 emails... which means I'm now like 30% down but I can't do it anymore and I'm taking this as a win!

The other night my friend put her hand on my bicep to comfort me as I just admitted something embarrassing and she went "oh wow" and her eyes went wide and I told her "yeah... I've got guns baby" and she was genuinely surprised and felt them again and I'm still riding that high.

a friend just said she "doesn't like museums" and I was like "wait... what do you mean??" cause like first of all they are wonderful, but second of all there's like so many different ones like ok maybe you don't like art museums but then you might be into natural history ones or history or science or.... like there's so many kinds of museums ??? Even small niche ones. How can you not like museums??? And she was just like "yeah idk I just.. don't like 'em" and I am spiralling a bit
