toilet ghost bapeys

so far, we’ve only seen two ways a ghost can gain power...

given that tsukasa’s tsukasa, he’s likely to do the latter.

though the 1st is still interesting when considering where hanako’s power comes from!

after all,

hanako did wish for something from a “god”, didn’t he?

he wanted to fulfill a duty to scrub that guilt away, it screams ‘I’m remorseful as fuck!’

if the same rules from tsukasa apply to all supernaturals who grant power, then perhaps hanako’s wish to a “god” was so rife with emotion that it gave him his OP abilities alongside the new outfit...

...which he changes into when he wants more power at his disposal. also explaining why his first mentioning of a god is when he changes.

that’s possibly why (other than to copy hanako) we haven’t seen tsukasa change into different clothes, not even while trying to fight! because he’s gotten his powers in a different, heartless way.

what’s hard to get is why tsukasa is the more powerful twin. apparently the “god” that gave hanako his abilities had given him limits - even hanako couldn’t kill a school mystery in their own boundary, yet tsukasa did it in one fell swoop... maybe tsukasa’s way is simply stronger?

but, what if we just haven’t seen tsukasa’s alternate outfit/powers? how different would he look, and how much more powerful?

or, what if tsukasa’s ALWAYS with his alternate powers and that’s why he’s so strong?

maybe it’s not only regret that gives a supernatural’s wish power. it's any strong feeling: sadness, love, loathing, vengeful...

what type of emotional wish would tsukasa make?

with how fast the pacing has been for the other episodes i expected more from ep 10.... the whole arc actually. 

in hindsight, it makes sense with how the opening shows no.3 as the last supernatural to be faced, so having 2 left-over episodes after no.3 sounds odd.

but hell, wouldn’t it have been cool if those 2 left-over episodes had a special new opening? 

one with the same song but different scenes particular to the plot of those last 2 episodes... 

ah honestly,, i can’t say because i’ve been planning to write out my predictions in fanfic form! once/if i finish i’ll let you know what they’ve been.

how did you guys feel about Tsukasa having a different voice than Hanako in english????

just found out today and i feel conflicted, 

my pros:

i suppose the voice cracks makes sense for a 13 or 14 y/o?

it feels like the VA has a great grip on a maliciously playful tone. very Tsukasa-like in that sense!

not too different from Hanako’s voice that it would 

the sounds Tsukasa makes outside of talking (grunts, squeaks, etc.) fit him too!

he still comes off as threatening in the right scenes for me, especially the ‘I know you have what it takes to defy the world’s design... Awaken!’

my cons:

just like the Hanako VA, he sounds like Mickey Mouse at times which isn’t to my liking...

Tsukasa looks so small that something higher would fit better, even if he does sometimes sound like Mickey, it’s much more often that he (alongside Hanako and Kou) sounds older than he looks

the voice swings from high to low very often too, which worked well with the Japanese VA but for this it seemed more forced imo

the laugh especially sounds ?? i don’t know how to describe it, but it startled me in a bad way djsgbdfkjnh

that being said, mitsuba’s voice seems to fit really well though :o
