Their spare house was larger than his only house. Gleaming wooden floors shone under his feet as the boy made his way through the large, open living room. Fresh sea salt wafted through the large, white windows and Cyrus made sure to pause and inhale. Many people never stopped to enjoy the smell of the sea but Cyrus embraced it all. He ran calloused hands over the plush furniture, enjoying his fleeting feel of wealth. Footsteps behind him made the boy pause. His hand snapped from the couch and he turned quickly. “This is a… A very nice house. Glad I got invited…”

Oh so you were born here? I’m more of a small town guy myself and as much as I enjoy the constant flow here. It’s nice to just take a step back sometimes and breathe. I can be very quiet myself but sometimes I like my presence known. It depends when you catch me, I guess.

Actually, I was born in Australia. Doesn't the accent sort of give it away? Small towns seem risky to me.  It's like.. You mess up, and  everyone knows that you did.
