people criticize the dialogue "choice" mechanic in ac5 because it's extremely limited and also because 90% of the time your choices have zero impact on the story/gameplay but frankly I think it's awesome that you're given the option to respond to questions like "captain are we going to make it out of this" or "are you ready for this kid" or "blaze do you think we can do this" by going NO!!!!!!
