Sebastian Stan thought about those words over and over after receiving the news that his younger sister, Irina, had been killed in a car accident. His content, happy life is turned on its head as he and his family begin to process their grief and sudden loss.

At his request, Y/N, one of his closest friends, flies in from Los Angeles to be with him during the funeral and the few days after. When custody of Irina’s daughter comes into question, Y/N extends her stay and offers to help Sebastian, leading to another request from him that she had never considered a possibility.
