okay this isn't what anyone was looking for from me nearly a full calendar year since my last DC fic but it's what you're getting! the stars aligned, I was briefly able to write, and this is what I wrote. sometimes you read 120-odd issues of 90s-early 2000s comics and then you go to ao3 and you go wait. no one is writing Kyle giving his ambiguously dead ambiguously evil predecessor an ambiguous blowjob?? and then you roll up your sleeves and do it yourself. enjoy!

The text comes at 10:32, right when Kyle's shrugging on a sweater and getting ready to head out. He leans over his messy desk, frowning down at his phone. Send pics, it says, and Kyleâs eyebrows raise into his hair.
Are you drunk? He texts back.
Just want to see your pretty face, comes the reply from Kyle's first and only bar hookup.
Well, it can't hurt. Kyle rolls his eyes, and then opens his camera, snapping a quick selfie. Happy?
