Positive news: the ACLU and Oregon attorney general are suing the feds for this behavior. It's completely unconstitutional to use intimidation tactics to suppress people's first amendment rights to assemble or to detain someone without due process. Officials in Portland and in Oregon have repeatedly condemned these actions as escalating violence and tension in the state for the sake of Trump's strongman image.
