aidenxrossâ:
Aiden had caught sight of the guy in the reflection of the bar mirror. Almost as if he was stalking around to catch them either unawares or in some form of lie. Aiden didnât like it, not one bit. It only solidified her decision in leaving with Haley to get her home. She kept Haley in her peripheral when she jotted down her signature to settle the tab and but making sure she spelled Aiden Ross correctly on the slip.Â
Standing outside, she glanced around for the red Kia driven by Miguel. Her mouth opened when she spotted the car, only for her voice to be stolen by a kiss.Â
That was unexpected.
Aiden had had just enough alcohol to not even question it and hooked her fingers into Haleyâs belt loops to keep her close. In hindsight, she should have known that they were continuously watched by the gross, creepy guy inside, but instead, she kissed her deeper.Â
A few seconds and she should have pulled away. She should have pulled away and said something about their ride. Should have apologized for the kiss and mentioned the guy watching them. Anything.
But Aidenâs hands were at her hips and she was kissing her deeper and Haley couldnât think about pulling away. Not when her body felt like sheâd put her finger in a light socket. Not when her hands tangled up in Aidenâs hair even more and Aiden was kissing her like this. Not when she was kissing back.
A car honked somewhere behind them and Haley broke the kiss with a sigh that felt a little regretful. âThink thatâs ours?â she asked, still close enough that her lips caught on Aidenât when she spoke. So close and still holding onto each other, she let herself be selfish and kissed her again.
