the more I think about it the more I love that show.

I don't know why I did not watch it back in the day, but I likely would not have got it back in the day. I was 23. I wouldn't have even had the patience for it, I don't think.

I never really hear about it except when people atart recommending psychological deep cuts, so I figured it was quite underrated...and it is, but I almost wonder if it lowkey influenced some other shows.

I see things that would be done later in Psycho Pass and Attack on Titan (I won't say what exactly, just bloody watch the thing).

but yeah, cyberpunk dystopia mafia gang wars with people who have cybernetic artificial limbs is right up my alley. It's hella bleak. I think it was well paced. If this had been made in 2026, they would have been given 12 episodes with a shitty studio and probably rushed it to hell with no ending.

that was Spring 2003. My ass was torrenting Air Master and Gad Gaurd.

The former was pretty cool, but a bit too horny for no reason, the latter sucked.

Now, of course, I think I said earlier that I started Texhnolyze and Ergo Proxy at the same time.

It's kind of nuts, and we're only on episode 5

maybe doesn't look as good as the original from the 80s, but what modern tv anime looks as good as any of that stuff?

It's still not too shabby for something I'm only watching because I watched it in '95 (with my mother).

(and that's more than I can say for Ranma, which I did not end up watching the new one. I really will not be watching that again. I'm sure it's perfectly good, considering it's allegedly a shot for shot remake...)

I kinda still have not been in the mood to catch up with SpyxFamily, but I've done a but anyway. I still really enjoy that show when I watch it. I will continue to take my time.

As much as it is nowhere near good enough looking, the tension is nearly unbearable. Real anxiety, that show
