Going my way?

There were once passageways to the old world, strange trails, hidden paths. You'd turn a corner and suddenly find yourself face-to-face with the great mystery, the foundation of all things. And even though that old world is gone now, even though it's been rolled up like a scroll and put somewhere, you can still feel the echo of it.

I've been fully obsessed with the Rivers of London books for about two years now, so it's about time that I drew the OG Folly gang! I love all of them, and I'm really pleased with how this group shot turned out - it's probably the most complicated multi-character illustration I've done to date.

The small glowing blob is protostar L1527! Caught in the glow of its sunrise-like creation the baby is only 100,00 years old! It can take up to 50 million years for a star to reach the size of our sun. This infant has a long time to go.
