“I need to taste you.” Remmick whispered from the trees, just low enough that she would hear. Against her better judgement she followed his voice. Wide brown eyes peered up at the branches and were greeted with glowing red dots staring down at her.

Faster than she could blink, Remmick dropped to the ground hard, his boots kicking up clouds of dust. His gaze burned into her, his body towering over her. As he stalked his way closer, drool began to drip out of his mouth. She watched as he wiped it away with his sleeve.

Remmick leaned forward, capturing her lips in a greedy kiss. He spun her around and pressed his nose into her curls inhaling, he let out a strained whimper.

She sighed into his touch and leaned back into his chest.

“My folks are expecting me home soon.” She explained.

“Please baby, I’ll be real quick.”

Her heart thumped in anticipation at feeling his fangs again. She tilted her head up at him. “Okay. If I’m not back in time for supper they’ll send out a search party.”

A cheeky smile spread across Remmick’s face, removing his arms from her waist he took her hand pulling her further into the darkness.

She was being reckless… falling for Remmick not just because of his pale complexion but his inhumane nature. Growing up her aunt told stories about vampires, she brushed them off as just that; stories.

Never in her wildest dreams did she see herself desiring being bitten and drunk from. That’s the thing the stories leave out about vampire bites, they’re addicting.

He led her to an abandoned cottage in the woods, the first place they met several weeks ago. With a swift kick of his boot the door flew open with a bang.

Moonlight illuminated the tiny cottage. A table and two chairs and an unused fireplace were the only furniture.

“Get on the table.” He demanded.

She obeyed, pushing herself up on the dust ridden table. Carefully moving her curls to the other side of her neck, she turned her head eagerly.

“I wanna try something a little different this time,” Remmick said, sucking his teeth.

“What’d you have in mind?”

He smirked. “Somewhere less visible.”

He sank to his knees , the floorboards groaned under his weight as he leaned forward hiking up her dress to her hips.

Her breath hitched taking in the sight of him below her. Brown fingers laced through his hair pulling him closer while he peppered kisses up her thigh. His calloused hands spread her legs apart and lifted one over his shoulder. She let out a gasp as his cold hands gripped her hips. He pulled her closer, nails digging into her skin just enough to leave faint red marks.

“You sure about this darlin’?” Remmick asked, looking up at her, drool leaking down his chin.

“Yes.”

“Alright, this may hurt a little.” His red eyes and wolfish grin sent a chill down her spine.

She clenched his hair tightly, a cry escaped her lips as sharp teeth sank into her thigh.

His lips latched onto her skin, sucking the warm blood that wept from the wound. Her breathing became shallow and a moan escaped her lips. His hand slipped down to her thigh, bringing it closer to his mouth.

Remmick drank deeply like he hadn’t fed in days. He murmured a moan against her thigh.

He swallowed another mouthful of blood before removing his lips from her skin. His tongue darted out licking the punctures he made with his fangs, she watched as the skin knitted back together. He reached over grabbing a forgotten tablecloth and wiped the remaining blood from her thigh. Goosebumps rippled over her flesh at the tender moment.

“All better now.” Remmick said resting his head on her thigh. His bloodstained mouth grinned up at her.
