now I understand that currently in the story we’re focused on Jormag and his influence in Tyria. and what colour is the new mastery tree? It’s blue, which could allude to ice… but you know what’s even blue-r than ice? WATER! And then there’s Jormag, the ice dragon - and what does ice melt into? WATER BABEY!!!!

basically, anet is blatantly alluding to the deep sea dragon’s existence, and i can stop wondering and dreaming if we will ever see this water horse for real and im crazy now

Anet said this Saga will have a lot of eldritch themes, and the Water Dragon is said to spawn ‘Tentacled Horrors’ in the bodies of water around it.

Jormag keeps alluding to ‘another threat’ that they can protect us from. I dont believe Jormag will actually protect us, but I believe this other threat, is real.

Would like to add that the new world boss, Drakkar, also bears resemblance to the new weapon skins. Also, world boss, Draconic, perhaps the DSD’s champion…? 🤔🤔🤔

Customized emotes:

You can create custom emotes by typing /me, /emote, /em, or /e followed by a space and the text to display as an emote.

/me laughs in triumph = [Character Name] laughs in triumph.

Synchronizing emotes:

Appending an asterisk “*” to an emote (e.g. “/dance *”) will put it into a queue which is processed every 5 seconds. This allows for multiple players to do emotes at the exact same time.

Persistent emotes:

The talk, dance, kneel, sit, sleep, cry, facepalm, sad and crossing arms emotes are persistent - meaning they will not stop until you do a physical action. When you use a skill with an activation time, move, perform an action (including entering combat and looting), sheathe / draw a weapon, or press the Esc key, the emote will end.

Trivia:

Back items will disappear during emotes.

Weapons as well but you can show them by using an item skill before starting it and then dropping the item.

Throughout the Shiverpeaks, using /kneel in front of altars or shrines gives boons.

In Charr territory, using /salute on Charr statues gives boons.

Using /threaten on ornery crabs turns them to hermit crabs.

And Ox/Dolyak, I’ve actually found 2 of these but only 1 of the other two which I find kind of weird. One of them is in the Southern Mountains and the other is next to a mastery point up north a bit.

anyways! just thought this was interesting. if anyone else finds one not in any of these locations please let me know because I think it’s fascinating 👀

Somwhere one developer once compared a sylvari to an apple. The growth socket is where the stalk of an apple grows (and where it is attached to the tree). The belly button is the opposing side, where the flower once was before the fruit formed.

(Sylvari having some kind of flower on their belly buttons is also cute :’D )

German RPers usually attribute a great significance to the main growth socket. It is the most important center of growth in the sylvari body. If it is heavily damaged, the sylvari dies – some even think it’s worse than head injuries (since we don’t even know if they have some kind of brain there) or chest injuries (since they have no heart).

For me, the main growth socket is in some ways like a heart to sylvari.
