The Annapurna region has long been a favorite for visitors to Nepal with good reason, a journey into the region is regarding excitement and surprises and an astonishing array of natural variety and beauty with dense forests of rhododendron, Nepal’s national flower. The highlight of the Ghorepani Poon Hill Trek is the sunrise from Poon Hill where we like to an astonishing panorama including Dhaulagiri, Tukuche Peak, Nilgiri, BarahaShikhar, the Annapurna range and numerous other giants. The magic of the morning light on the peaks seems to show heaven itself.

Our trek starts from Pokhara, natural capital of Nepal. Pokhara is known as lake city a great amphitheater of reams. Annapurna range makes its northern wall. This is a base question treks in the Annapurna and Dhaulagiri ranges. We drive 44 km / 1.5 hrs to the trekking trail head at 1,100 m from Pokhara start off our trek to Ghorepani first. Ghorepani or its top Pun Hill (3,200 m) offers look at about 15 snow peaks including Dhaulagiri I (8,167m / 7th highest), Annapurna I (8,091m / 10th highest) and Manaslu (8,156m / 8th highest).
