Listen the fuck up. I know I’m not the only one who’s seeing the shit on campus right now, and I know I’m not the only one who’s fucking appalled by it. So I’m proposing a safe place in the Submissive Support Group for people who want to voice how they’re feeling, or if not, just chill with your fellow Submissives. Because it’s bullshit, and I’m not going to ignore it. And what’s the point of the group if we’re not, y’know, supporting each other?

“This is new,” he teased, though they both knew it wasn’t the first time this had happened. Reaching for Michael, he ran his hands through the man’s hair and caressed his cheeks in praise. “There you are, my sweet boy. What do you need?”

Things definitely had been tense for a few days and James was not surprised when the two of them spent that time together in the peace and quiet of his office and his suite in the administration building of The Academy. He wasn’t surprised when they didn’t talk about why either. Knowing Michael, he let the other man pretend like nothing was happening while people were exploding, knowing that addressing things while they had the potential to get worse would make it worse, so instead he distracted him the best he could and kept things comfortable for the both of them. Finally though, it was time to talk and James knew it the second a certain switch seemed to flip inside Michael and that new expression finally broke through and took over the calm one he’d had all of this time. Dissociating from the issue was done, now James sat up and scooted closer immediately, being the one to reach out without hesitation, pulling Michael into his lap and wrapping both arms around him. “Yeah, yeah they have. That’s an understatement. Talk to me, baby blue.”

Stress and uncertainty were things that had surrounded Michael his entire life. Growing up in the foster system, and the quality of many of the homes he’d found himself in, had created the perfect storm for him to become the detached, seemingly emotionless person he was. That was to say, emotionless other than the anger he usually so readily displayed. The events that had transpired across campus over the weekend had put Michael in one of the worst possible head spaces, leaving him feeling the need to isolate, to lash out, to do anything that prevented him from doing the one thing he really wanted, which was to cry. He sought shelter in the comfortable energy James had provided him for so many years, but solace was something he was still working towards being able to seek. James patience had been unmatched, but Michael couldn’t stop himself from worrying that one day, that patience might run out. The war raging within him sapped more energy than he had to give, and left him in a tailspin, needing to submit, but still unable to ask. When James pulled him into his lap, Michael felt something within himself beginning to soften, but his body relaxed only slightly. “I don’t know what to say. I’m...Tired. I feel...” Stopping himself, his head fell, eyes closing. “I don’t know. I don’t feel good.”

Done! You should see my request come in soon. Yes! Hi, I remember! Don’t worry about it, I’m just glad I caught your attention with this one, because I  really need a challenge on some of these games. The CPU’s just aren’t doing it for me anymore. I’m ready, Michael - to win, that is.

I know what you mean, I play a lot of single player games but I’ve worked through most of them twenty times over. You and I will get along just fine. Game on, Anderson!

I’m going to take some time to myself for a while, and knowing me that will involve a lot of time spent on my Nintendo Switch - at least when I’m not in class, so if anyone wants to add me on there, I’ll send you my friend code. I’ve been playing a lot of Mario Kart lately, so if you feel like…well, likely losing to Toadette on a tiny little motorcycle, let me know.

I know I just posted an update, and I am so thankful to everyone who has responded so far. But after some of the events of the day and the things can see on the dash, I felt like another one would be good. Respond to either, I don’t have a preference. It’s no secret at all that this campus has been filled with wayyyyyyyy too much stress and strife over the past couple of days. And that is not cool at all. There has been so much division it’s making my head spin. I’ll be the first one to come out and say, that very division is a big reason you don’t catch me out and about a lot. I’m tired of the fighting. I’m tired of the arguments. I’m tired of the he said, she said, I’m tired of the back and forth. It’s unnecessary, and some of this stuff is crossing so many lines on both sides, it’s pure insanity. None of this is good for anyone- not mentally, not emotionally, and not physically either. Did you all know that stress can literally make you sick? This is a brand new world for all of us. Every single one of us is struggling with something, whether you all see it or not. Every single one of us is having trouble with this whole new everything. And my God, some of this stuff is just downright animalistic. Stop guys, please. Just stop. Where’s the compassion? Where’s the understanding? Where’s our humanity? We’re supposed to love each other. Support each other. Be there for each other. All of us. Not just the people who are the same political alignment as you are. Not just the people you grew up with. Not just the people who are the same gender as you. Not just the people you want to fuck. We’re all in this together. All of us. And in case you’ve all missed the memo, at some point, the goal is for all of us to be in a claim with someone else here, right now. To build a life, a family, a relationship with someone else here, right this very second. What is wrong with all of you? This has gone far enough. 

With that out of the way, I want to announce that this Saturday I’ll be hosting a Peace Party in the Gymnasium. This will be for everyone who is tired of this, who wants to move on, who wants to build bridges, not burn them. This will be for people interested in loving each other, supporting each other, and working together to navigate this whole new world together, like we should be. I’ll worry about snacks, and drinks, and music. I’ll have something DJ’ed or on a playlist, but if anyone wants to perform live I’ll set up a stage for that too. I’ll set up some games and activities too, for anyone not interested in dancing or performing. I’ll be there with my food, music, and games from 5 PM until 8 PM. Come, or don’t, it’s up to you. But I’m moving forward. Whoever is with me is welcome to join. Otherwise, I wish you the best, nothing but peace and happiness. We can all learn from this. We can all move forward from this. We can all grow from this, if we allow ourselves to. The choice is yours. 

With that, I’m going to bed. I’ll be back tomorrow, when I have the energy for it. But, I’m going to be focusing on self-care for the majority of the week, and planning for the party. If you want to help, let me know. Have a good night, everyone. Peace, love, and light.

I might come. I haven’t been to a party in a while and this looks like as good of a reason as any. I’m Michael Guerin. I don’t know if we’ve met but there’s the introduction just in case. Would you be okay with the tutor, James Moore, coming too? Or are you keeping this student-only?

I never thought I would be gracing these walls with my presence again, but never say never I guess. For those of you who don’t know me, I’m Quinn Fabray and yes, I’m still a submissive. I’m sure it’ll be a pleasure to meet some new faces and reconnect with some old ones.

Hey. I’m Michael Guerin. I’m not new here, but I might as well be as much as I show my face. Maybe we’ll see each other around and in classes. If you need anything, you can text me. I know the tutor, so I’ve got the in on that kind of thing. 

“Don’t look so excited, sour puss. I promise it’ll be fun. Way better than last time, because of that ‘little different’ thing you mentioned. I thought you might like this.” Quickly, James moved towards the closet and pulled out a new suit, freshly pressed and made for Michael. He’d never forced the submissive to follow society’s structured protocols, in very few other places would things be this easy for him. Michael didn’t have to stay with James anymore to stay safe either, yet here he was. “You don’t have to pay me back, that’s silly. I’ve got way too much as itis.”

Michael’s eyes rolled at the jab, though he couldn’t help but to snort a little. “You should know by now, I don’t exactly get excited about much. Maybe it will be. You’ll be there.” His words were brief and his tone clipped, but Michael was sure James had spent enough time with him to read between the lines he’d laid out. His jaw nearly dropped at the suit that was pulled from the closet; he couldn’t remember ever having worn something so nice. It had occurred to him some time ago that he could go, he no longer faced true danger outside of the sanctuary of James’ suite. but it was a thought that had come and went, as he made excuses to himself to stay. As always, avoiding the truth. “You always say that, knowing you’re gonna get the same response. That’s fine and dandy, but I don’t ever wanna have to feel like I owe anything to anybody. Too much or not.”

“I bought something for you to wear tonight… if you want to wear it. Obviously I’m still down to go with you, even if you don’t need me to escort you in order to save you from serving openly anymore.”
