PSA: Moving Accounts

//Hokay, so I finally gave in and remade Ilyria’s blog on it’s own standalone account so that I can follow other RPers back with her rather than using my personal one anyone and confusing people. The new url is:

I will be switching the name over within the next few days once the majority of the transition has been made, then deleting this account, and I’ll be replying to threads through this account from now on too. So, yup. That’s a thing.

He found his stuff on a table grabbing his sonic and keys heading to where his tardis was located. He opened the tardis and went inside “I need to have a shower and get changed…” he looked and felt miserable. He walked away from Ilyria sighing gently.

"Alright, I.. I'll be here..." she said softly, watching him go. When he'd disappeared she turned and sank into his favourite armchair, looking listlessly into empty space. He wasn't right. What had happened to him, it might just have been too much this time. She could feel it from him, coming in waves, the sadness.

"We are not a mushy couple are we?" he asked surprised by this "How about…Paris if you want to get super mushy?" he laughed. "I know how about we go to Athens? historical and not a mushy location" he smirked.

"I'm playing," she giggled, setting her cutlery down on her plate, finished with her food. "I'm having issues deciding now! Maybe we should look at things like flights and hotels, that'll help narrow it down, I'm sure."

A grin slowly spread across Fitz’s face as he watched her. At first, feet carried him after her like an excited puppy. “Talk to it? Y’think it’ll be able to compromise with us? Or maybe I can just tell it where the artifact is!”

Eventually, though, the tiny whirlwind Gallifreyan had him standing dizzily in the middle of the room. He watched her for a few more moments of excitement before speaking again, tone urgent, “Just let me know if I can help - seriously! M’not so good with building stuff but I’m not too bad at the programming side.”

"Well, if nothing else I could at least find out exactly what it wants," she replied, half disappearing into a crate as she leaned over it, pulling out reams and reams of cabling, stood on tiptoes as she dragged it out over her shoulder. "Is there something sharp handy? I need to strip the insulation off this."

When she found the end of the cables she heaved them over to the bench, then pulled her sonic out of her pocket, staring at the clear tip of it with something wistful in her eyes.

"The best help you could be is to lend me your sonic device in a minute," she murmured, biting her bottom lip for a brief moment before she set hers down on the bench and cast her eyes around for a hammer.

"I will not lose you…I will fix the paradox…and you will stay with me…I won’t lose" he spoke strongly. He looked around "Lets get to my tardis…I have to do some research…" he walked looking strong and tall.

Instinctively, she grabbed for his hand as she jogged to keep up with him, her fingers closing tightly around his. There wasn't a lot to say to that. She knew there were only two solutions to the paradox and he would not accept either...

"It doesn’t have to be England you know? we cold go to France or Spain or Italy…cheap holidays and just across the sea" he smiled. "This is great by the way" he meant the food "Could use a bit more vegetables but its wonderful" he smirked.

"We'd ran out of peppers," she said with a grin, poking her tongue out at him. "What about Venice? That seems appropriately mushy a destination for a young couple."

"What do you mean? explain that to me…" he looked concerned "What will happen to you?" he asked. He caressed her cheek worried "Please I want you to stay with me…forever…" he looked like a child that didn’t want to let her go.

"It's just... if paradoxes were easy to overcome, don't you think everyone would be doing it?" she breathed, laying her hand over his as he touched her face. "I don't want you to worry now... I just want to get you back to the Tardis where you're safe and happy and enjoy my time with you. I love you and I spent so long hoping I'd hear you say it back... I just want to be happy with you for as long as I can."

He ate more food and was happy as he looked at her “Sounds good we can look at holidays online for some more ideas” he grinned. “Plus it would be nice we haven’t gone anywhere together” he thought about this.

Fitz pawed his own way through the room, picking up occasional items and tossing them aside. While a lot of it was use-able, it was akin to walking into someone’s hobby studio. There were a lot of odd components and items which would have worked great for a specific project, but cobbling something together on the fly would have been difficult.

At Ilyria’s question, Fitz perked up, “Actually - he used t’do one better. He worked as a dispatcher for one of the companies I contracted for.” Grey eyes slowly filled with hope, “Why? Y’think maybe you can do something with that?” Quickly he moved over to her, hovering over her shoulder.

"Well, if I can scratch around a few more things I may well be able to pull together some sort of transmitter to at least talk to whatever it is that's coming for you..." she said, setting the modulator down and rooting around through other bits on the bench, sifting her way through scraps of wiring. "I;m going to need something to send the signal out on, though. And some sort of crystal to fine tune it, which is going to be my main problem..."

By now her brow was furrowed in thought as she skittered around him, swept up in the idea that she was forming as she started digging through the boxes of scrap.

"That sounds like a good idea actually" he smiled thinking about it "Where would we go? any ideas?" he asked smiling gently.

"I don't know. Somewhere you can relax and have a proper rest. Maybe some nice little cottage in Cornwall or something?" she said before taking another bite of her food.

He chuckled admiring her skills as he sat down “Thank you for the meal” he smiled softly at her. He sipped his juice and began to eat enjoying the food after his day at work.

"Welcome," she said, taking a couple of bites of her own dinner before she looked him, her pale eyes travelling over his tired face.

"I was thinking, maybe once your school is broken up for the holidays and I'm done with college for the semester, maybe we should take a mini holiday together? Give you a break.."

He moaned awake and his tummy rumbled he looked to her “Evening…I fell asleep didn’t I?” he asked weakly. He stretched and smiled as he smelt the food “Mmm…smells wonderful” he got up and looked at the table “Wow…it looks delicious” he grinned.

"I aim to please," she said with a grin, filling two glasses with apple juice and setting one of them down before him at the table, taking a sip out of the other. She sat down, using her feet to push his chair out for him.

"Thank you love…" he smiled gently as he stole another kiss he wandered over to the couch. He sat down and within a few minutes he was fast asleep on it. He was deep in sleep and had clearly worked hard today as he muttered in his sleep.

She cleared away her art supplies, tucking them into a cupboard, then pulled the lasagna out of the oven, laying the table before she set the plates on the table, heading to the front room to find John. As she saw him asleep on the sofa, she broke into a warm smile, leaning over to kiss his head as she said gently,

"Love? Wakey wakey..."
