D-Efeitos

José Irion Neto (Brazil), worldwide known reference of GLITCH ART today, accepted a challenge and remixed a music clip of D-EFEITOS' dancing at Avenida Paulista (Sao Paulo/Brazil).

Grupo D-Efeitos in its new phase, presents a deep experimental work mixing urban dances and glitch art influences. Its development is in search of an unique genre, creating a strong identifiable impression between the watchers and the robots/dancers.  And it all happens on a dynamic musical environment, stimulating the finds of new movements and human sensations. D-Versos is held at Mutrópolis, fictional laboratory-city, and collects dance verses that are strongly linked to D-Efeitos's vision to their new universe. The 40-minute show is composed of dance techniques such as waving, animation, robboting and warping. It plays, at the same time, with the fragmented, vibrating and warped aesthetics of the glitch - so it runs all the stage concepts, from the light design to the relations between the characters Teik, Dota, Ruix and King.
