Longest track and one of more experimental ones from "Petturien Rooli" CD. Multilayered screeching metal objects, underwater stones, wood, etc. and eventually ear ripping harsh noise blasts. Early versions of the track consisted more traditional harsh noise. Not sure if any of the raw drafts were saved, but if was, maybe something to upload to blog..

GRUNT / CLOAMA collaboration live gig from Summer 2000. One song from this set was published on "Kaos Ex Machina" 2xCDR compilation http://www.discogs.com/Various-Kaos-Ex-Machina-I/release/523690 Actually video states incorrectly, as 2 live songs appear on Grunt / Cloama "Nausea of Humanity" CD! Gig as one wholeness was unpublished before.

"Shining Knives" from Grunt / Macronympha -split LP Changes in Grunt taken during 1997 was becoming visible in 1998. Lyrics were started to be used in releases and most of the topics were turning darker. Joe Roemer suggested topic of “Terror” for split and artwork of this particular release were to influence entire Freak Animal catalogue thereafter. The “exploding man” artwork would make its way to many release label artworks. Harsh and cruel noise. (Picture used in youtube video is unrelated to actual release)

GRUNT "Someone Is Watching" CD opening track "Watch Your Back". Slowly throbbing c. 9 minutes piece from 1997. CD still available from www.freak-animal.net and several other distributors. One of the landmark releases of the time for tape format. It was released and quickly sold out. In 1997/1998 surveillance and lack of privacy seemed oppressing, yet personally had not even had e-mail account when starting this release. Nor internet connection until years later. It was obvious where world would be going, and now situation seems so clear it hardly even requires commentary, as it seemed did back then. Looong delayed re-issue on CD came finally in 2011 by same label.

EPISODE 78 of great harsh noise radio program LOUD LOUDER LOUDEST broadcasted latest published GRUNT track (from Antihumanism compilation CD). It's first piece of the program. Note that LLL program always does some heavy compression for maximum noise loudness, so many releases are slightly different sounding on actual release. Also people interested in this material, of course I also recommend to check out the actual CD release!

"Saturday at Rooster started with GRUNT. People say it was loud, and perhaps it was as some decorations was dropping from ceiling and PA actually clipped & stopped in middle of set for perhaps 10-20 seconds.. Never done that before. Turned notch lower and rest of night no problems. All new tracks never played live. Including live variations of "Call for Antihumanist Order" from Antihumanism Records compilation and still upcoming Italian compilation tape and stuff what was first tried out on this gig. CON-DOM set was also special set, including most of all (if not exclusively?) tracks from compilations what Con-Dom has never performed live. Perhaps highlight of set was track from Der Blutharsch "remix" project 4xCD set. Now in live version sounded even more epic and brutal. Good vocal sound, simpler video. Less of rumbling noise, more in-you-face. Hard to say which one to prefer more, both sets were definitely must to see! BRUT was last one. Blood, raw liver, glass bowl, contact mic'ed knives, masturbation with knife inside cunt, always wearing burka, but also combination with nudity. Different video and nice more harsh noise sounding set. Ended with crashing bowl of blood and raw meats into ground. I think this was better gig of the two! Rooster boss counted 40 people presence. Good night!"

2009 outdoor recordings in freezing weather.

ANTIHUMANISM RECORDS started in 2003 with release of GRUNT / TAINT split LP. Now celebrating 10 years of Antihumanism, label decided to release compilation CD that collects unreleased tracks from various bands connected to label history. This means disturbing mix of noise and black metal related recordings. All other material on compilation is previously unreleased exclusive material, except two Goatmoon tracks that are originally tape-only bonus tracks from Death Before Dishonor album. Among many other groups, GRUNT is featured. CD opening track is 7 minutes long massive new piece, approaching more harsh noise side of Grunt. Extremely piercing sound, both gloomy and monumental slow moments as well as fast and dynamic changes. CD is packaged in simple cardboard sleeve and label sells it for 6 euro price. Will be listed later today in Freak Animal's mailorder catalogue as well.
