Owls were said to eat human meat and drink oil from the churches. Have you ever heard a barn owl's sound? It sounds like they are saying the word "meu, meu, meu", which means "mine" in the Catalan language. If a person was ill and an owl came to tweet consistently outside their house more than usual, it was believed that it was a sign that the person would die, and the owl was claiming them as their own. In some parts of the country, the owl's tweeting was also interpreted as "cluc, cluc, cluc, acluca't", where "acluca't" means something like "get shut" or "shut yourself" (it's the verb we use for closing our eyes), because the owl was trying to get that person to die.

I’m SO behind on scanning my post-it notes so this is from the SVSSS manga announcement! SQH is trying to get in on the action.

Here’s the planned second post-it that I didn’t finish but I think I got all the emotions in this one…

The crown was made using different kinds of moulds and adding little elements that had been made separately. It is ornamented with the Catalan shield (the four bars) and Peter of Portugal's family motto "paine pour joie" (French for "pain for joy", meaning that it's necessary to go through hardships to reach joy).
