Purpose of life
We are not here to waste our time. Time is not given to be wasted. We must strive to develop a thoughtful opinion and then share it with the world.
When going through the process of developing an opinion or an understanding of something, we must share our learnings with the world, as we don’t know who might benefit from our learnings. Keeping an open mind will help us notice when we were wrong and adapt when needed, choose a better path when time is right.
In the process, we’ll go through multiple steps, such as exploration (input), synthesis and creation (output). The more we document the process, the easier it will be to move from one step to the other.
(At least, that’s how it was for me. I’m still at a step no.2, almost touching a step no.3).
Often wrong
How often do we realise that we were wrong? I’d like to capture those moments and look for patterns, and such improve my learning curve.
Why people build
Researchers are curious. Product managers listen to their users. Entrepreneurs have problems.
Masters Master
Do we have too much time if we look for the meaning of life?
Look by doing rather than thinking. Doing is purposeful by itself.
Thinking for the sake of curiosity is wasteful, while thinking for the sake of mastering a skill is valuable.
The most valuable skill might be learning to learn. How do you learn?

Tech poem
Do I want to spend my life plugged into a VR?
I do want to spend my life being a good person.
Art-preneur
"When you’re an artist, people buy more than your craft, they buy your story,” listening to artists-entrepreneurs last week.
We have edupreneurs (education entrepreneurs), we need artpreneurs.
Infobesity
We want to know right now. We’re so impatient. We want a specific piece of information tailored to our needs, in a particular point in time.
When knowledge information is a few clicks away, is it still valuable? It’s so easy to ‘find out’, so that we forget to ‘think’. When was the last time you ‘thought’ about something for some time?
On doing
I went to a sketching meetup today. “I prefer using a pen instead of a pencil. This way I cannot make mistakes. I cannot erase.”
The same is with life. We don’t have an eraser. We try things and see what happens.
Peace of mind
Is there such a thing as safety zone? I don't think there's. When we're safe, there's nothing to strive for.

Stories
The best stories are real. These are the hardest to tell.
Small talk
“So, what is your story?” - a good way to start a conversation.
We are a race of artists. What are we doing about it?
Shirley Graham Du Bois
FakeImpact
“300 people planting a tree? That’s not impact,” a nonprofits friend today.
What do you need?
How far human imagination can (should) go? We keep creating technology out of curiosity. Should we continue?
“If I had asked people what they wanted, they would have said faster horses.” ― Henry Ford
The most popular quote we hear these days at startup ecosystems around the world. It implies that people don’t know what they need.
Although, have we ever asked: “What do you need?”.

Balancing II
It’s easy to express opinions on what’s worth building and what’s not. Whom has a right to judge? There’s no good without bad, just like there’s no bad without good.
On Creation
My grandpa used to write books. My dad used to paint. My mom used to paint as well. My grandma used to make crafts. Each piece of creation was solo creation. They had interactions with other people of course. That's how they collected stories to tell. But a creation itself was delivered by one person. Can a painting be painted by two or more people? It cannot. A masterpiece is delivered by a master. Would a creator ask feedback and aim to improve it? Not really. A creator would let an audience make a judgement. Often what's stopping us from creating is fear and we look for excuses to not do it today. "Have confidence in creativity" - I read a while ago. See creativity as a bird that needs to fly. "Only by doing a large amount of work you'll become good at it."
