this is so important!! i was diagnosed with epilepsy when i was 15 (about four years ago) and afterwards i was thinking, why isn’t there any awareness for it??? at any high school sports event/game in october, players, cheerleaders and fans would wear pink to spread awareness for breast cancer but there was nothing about epilepsy. so, i brought this up with a good friend of mine about how there should be at least ONE day for epilepsy awareness and she told me that cancer should is more important because people can die from cancer and people CAN’T die from epilepsy (even tho you can). and she said this knowing that i had epilepsy lmaooo
