Her arms and legs feel like they have weights tied to them, if she could she would probably fall through the mattress with how heavy they are, like she’s a victim of fucking Freddy Krueger or some shit. Trinity fighting her on everything, testing her, and Baran responding patiently but stern, unshakeable, and it does something to Trinity she doesn’t know how to handle. She can’t stop thinking about Baran’s reliable temperament, the few but genuine compliments she gave Trinity, the way she has her keen eye poised on everyone and everything, at all times, the way that gaze sends shivers up her back in a way so different from Garcia’s.
