Oh no I’m not at all surprised. The hostility in that screenshots response was in response to the very abrasive and rude way the question was worded.

On my profile I have it CLEARLY stated my gender as well as have it stated that I’m 3 years on Testosterone and pre-op. Amongst that I also have it stated very clearly that I myself am not there for hookups of any sort.

Yes. I know it’s mostly a gay hookup app. Yes. I’m aware it’s full of gay and bi men looking for hookups. But what people don’t realize is just the sheer amount of trans folks on there who are looking for friends or even resources through some of their fellow trans folks on there, as well as trans people who are questioning and just need advice. While I was there initially for dating purposes myself, I’ve actually stuck around on there to help out these trans folks when they come across my profile and message me. I also offer myself as someone to vent to for some of the cis men ive found there who really are looking for someone to talk to more then to fuck.

The sexual questions and dick pics don’t really phase me and trolling/ snarking at the assholes who decide to blatantly ignore and try to mock me (end probably other trans folks) with questions phrased in rude and shitty ways is more a fun way for me to get my two cents in while putting the point across that acting like that isn’t going to get them anywhere.

Hell if he had asked and was genuinely curious about my transition or details about Ftm transition in general I would have been happy to teach him a thing or two because I simply like helping people learn about things like that so they understand more in general about what we’re going through.

Trans people exist and are in fact among you all. I, BEING one, should know this. Transgender people are allowed in gay spaces just as much as cis people are. Just because a TRANSGENDER /MALE/ /TRANS /MASCULINE/ individual who HAS NOT HAD BOTTOM SURGERY, WHICH DOESNT EVEN NEED TO BE KNOWN BY ANYBODY BUT SAID PERSONS PARTNER, has what is BIOLOGICALLY REFFERED TO AS A VAGINA doesn’t mean that individual is a STRAIGHT WOMAN if they are seeking partnership with ANOTHER /MASC/ PRONOUN USING INDIVIDUAL.

For fucks sake I am tired of people forgetting that trans men/ Transmasculine non-binary folks exist and can ACTUALLY LIKE OR PREFER OTHER MEN / TRANS MASCS. And just because they have anatomy thaTS different from what people think a “MAN” has to be. I made this blog as a literal look into what us transmasc folk wind up seeing and how we’re spoken to as well as just the funny stupid shit some dudes wind up saying because they’re just barely literate enough to work out a “want to see/ suck my dick”.

Should have expected /some/ terfs but damn I didn’t expect my post to be blown through a whole field of them. I honestly thought a lot of the terfs were dying out too. Oh well. I’m glad I’m able to sort through and block the ones that show themselves to be the true transphobes ☺️☺️🥰.

Tl;dr

Vagina on Grindr does not mean a rapist straight women on the loose. It literally just means that a transmasc mlm or even someone looking for t4t is using the app to find a date or even a friend. Stop assuming you know what’s right for everyone, and for fucks sake stop being transphobic.
