My brother, Raphaham, is a particular fan of the cute style of this piece. It replicates the location and characters of Minish Cap wonderfully, adds comedy with Vaati's confusion at just what he is fighting, and makes both the petrified Nanka and the sword wielding Hat feel right at home in the setting. Eye-catching with fantastic vibrancy in so many aspects!

Nintendo Direct June 2026 Thoughts; the pretty much E3 based one.
Another summer when E3 used to be, another Nintendo Direct to fill that void, and I'm here to share my thoughts on this Direct.
I can understand the sentiment that this Nintendo Direct was lacklustre, or simply average. The presentation could do with a lot of work and it felt more Partner Direct than Nintendo Direct at times. That said, on a personal level, I got plenty out of this direct.
A Nintendo Switch Sports sequel with Nintendo Switch Sports Resort? Awesome! More spotlight on Rhythm Paradise Groove with an RPG mode? Great. My much hoped for port of Stellar Blade so I can finally play the game? Wait well worth it. MURAMASA: THE DEMON BLADE!? HOLY HECK!!!! One of my top 10 favourite games of all time with extra content is a joy for me.
I shall also remain cautiously optimistic about the Ocarina of Time remake. Overall though, there was plenty I liked, even if I do agree that there was a lack of bigger new reveals and there was a ton of games announced with little detail and explanation to them. I still don't own a Switchertwo yet but this Direct shows I really need to get one... just kind of need that job to be able to afford one.

Dazzling and delightful, Shantae and her friends (and Risky Boots) look mesmerising in the now iconic desert princess outfits. The bold outlines with a gold trim is great and all the girls look beautiful here, with subtle variation to body design but well replicated uniforms (slight colour variation aside).
I personally adore how much Sky's grump expression stands out from the others.

Always a joy to stumble upon Yuri Kozukata fanart. She's, as to be expected, beautiful here, and the water effect of the submerged part of her body is splendid.
A cute Lip and a elegant yet distant Selene (rather fitting; it's like she is amongst the stars). The pink tone for the shadows across Lip, most noticeable with her hair, is a neat aspect.
It has been a while since I shared a video so here's a bunch of Switch captured clips (with commentary over it) of me playing Sonic Superstars with my nephews and niece.

A beautiful bunny Dark Magician Girl!
A sexy adaptation of her usual attire, with the pink ribbons leading to her fluffy bunny tail being a brilliant touch. Her pose with the raised arm to show the droop of her... mantle collar (I'm terrible when it comes to clothing terms) as it leads to her enticing figure is fantastic and her expression is so sweet.

As am I; always nice to see Nanka in new attire and Hat perched up on her shoulder is real cute. A lovely artwork of fantastic braids, feathers, expressions (real impressive to do with Hat), and concept.

Rosa getting ready to go out and catch some Pokemon
A charming sequence of events. Rosa tying up her hair into her iconic look is great; nice idea having one side already done up and a showcase of how she'd look with her hair down to compare.
The thinking chibi is hilarious and perfectly placed to bring the viewer's eyes to the bountiful bouncy booty that is preventing those shorts from being pulled up. Rosa's soft and sweet here in many ways and her blushing face mid-turn is another highlight to this fantastic artwork.
Star Fox Direct Drop!?
I was just about to head for bed last night, doing one last browse of YouTube, when out of the corner of my eye I see... a Star Fox Direct about to premiere in a couple minutes?
Yeah, that was unexpected. Really cool, but unexpected.
A new Star Fox game... except it isn't. It has long since leapt past the edge of insanity when the same general premise of Star Fox story and gameplay is being redone for a fifth time. (Star Fox on SNES, Star Fox 64, Star Fox 3D, Star Fox Zero, and now Star Fox... which is confusingly named). There was a lot of disagreement over what people wanted from a new Star Fox game, but I think it not being a remake/port of Star Fox SNES/64 once again was the one thing everyone agreed with.
Aside from the graphics and cutscenes (which frankly seems like it will slow down the fast-paced arcade shooter built upon replayability), it doesn't seem like anything new is being offered either. So yeah, not that I have a Switchertwo (Switch 2) yet anyway, but this game isn't exactly one that is tempting me... because I've already experienced it in only slightly different ways many times before. Really; a very odd decision.
