I've been thinking again of WereRaven Alistair and thought that he infected William with the curse, but Gracey is a lot weaker but more in control than Crump is when he turns.
Sorry it took a little long to answer. Wanted to draw a small little something for this response.
But yes! I love that idea!
It's gotten me to think about what a WereRaven William Gracey would be like, and I honestly agree that he would be weaker and more in control of his form that Alistair would be. He would also probably be smaller than Alistair as well.
As strange as it sounds, I think Alistair having another WereRaven around would kinda make his own wereraven form chill out a little bit. Although Ravens are known to normally be alone, they sometimes travel in pairs. Plus, another raven creature hanging around would be good for him in some sense. However, William does not like being transformed one bit. Though he's more in control when he turns, the transformation is still extremely painful for him. Plus, he's unfortunate enough to have to deal with the beast that is WereRaven Alistair Crump.
Since they're both males, Alistair was extremely threatened when he first saw William. He injured William's wings and just about killed him, but William was able to run off just in time. Because of his scars and permanently injured wings, William can't fly for long distances, and it's still difficult for him to fly short distances as well. He normally will fly just enough to perch himself on a tree and just chill there and sometimes preen his fethers until he transforms back. Once Alistair's wereraven form no longer sees William as a threat, he still makes sure to make it known he's the strongest out of the two of them and keep William in his place.
Though their relationship is still extreamly toxic, they're somewhat dependent on one-another in a way, with William being unable to really hunt for himself due to his disabeled form and Alistair keeping William around to fuel his own ego and because he finds him pathetic and amusing ( He also wont admit that he secretly enjoys not being the only one cursed and finds his company to be slightly comforting). They'll normally use bird sounds to communicate with each other.
William also likes Shiney things, his lantern being his favorite, just like Alistair does and normally stores them in a little hole he found in his favorite tree. Though he keeps his lantern on him at all times, even when a WereRaven. He would also act much more like a normal raven than some sort of monster. He would be very social and curious about a lot of things. But he normally stays in his tree whenever Alistair is around. He's terrified of Alistair no matter what form they're in; WereRaven or not.
