And there it is, yeah.
everyone stop stigmatizing wanting attention and to be admired and loved right now and that includes all you self loathers you are not exempt from deserving your social needs met
"they're just doing it for attention" oh yeah? you think? I say "hello" for attention I don't see anyone calling me a self centered ass for greeting them

Look if you can't handle me at my
you don't deserve me at my

His grisping was… sexual in nature… I had no idea until tumblr told me
being a kid and hearing adults say stuff like "woah 2011 was 4 years ago haha" didn't really convey the fucking horror of a youtube video crossing my recommended labelled "9 years ago" and it's from 2017. that's not true. 9 years ago is 2010 or something. don't lie.
'minion' -too closely associated with those yellow things
'goon' -linguistic drift gave her a new meaning. i hope her new life is good for her. i miss her.
'henchman' -too gendered. can be shortened to 'hench' in a pinch, but lacks punch.
'servant' -too domestic to apply to all those who serve evil.
'underling, subordinate' -this one only works if they get off on being beneath you and/or you don't properly pay your workers.
'associate' -this one's good for grizzled mercenaries or lone agents but doesn't work good for broad swathes of an organization.
'slave' -same as underling but more intense. really fun for some of the group. unsavory for others in a way that limits the scope of the thing.
'thrall' -only really applies if you're brainwashing them and that's not something i've learned how to do en masse yet
'flunky, toady, stooge, lackey' -these are just insulting, and that isn't conducive to a healthy work environment. imagine going to work and your job title is 'stooge'.
'acolyte' -works for those that worship you, but again. lacks the scope.
'supporter, follower' -unspecific and vague
'assistant, helper, aide' -not sinister at all. just means you're doing things for me. swagless in this manner. could be good if used to describe someone who's so clearly more that as a way to emphasize their obedience via understatement, but that's only useful for a few members of the organization. and even then, 'associate' works better.
'cohort' -untested in the field. suggests an equal footing in the affair, ideal for post-structuralist evil organizations with a bottom-up power structure that's held in the hands of the evil workers themselves. perhaps we'll explore it together?
may I suggest: 'grunt' – time-tested by crime bosses with a variety of goals and organizational mandates. implies a subservient position with none of the innate baggage of lackey et al.
GRUNT IS PRETTY GOOD
Apparently someone got their car stuck on the light rail tracks at Mt. Baker. For those unfamiliar this is 35 feet up in the air
First test flight of a flying car by Mazda partially a success
I feel like the Arizona license plate should take some place in our analysis of whatever in the goddam fuck we’re looking at here
Much like Springfield before it, Seattle is one of the few major cities in the world with a monorail. That, combined with a more conventional light rail system, makes Seattle the rare U.S. city with two different types of train for public transportation. On Tuesday night, the rail system briefly had a third: a Mazda CX-5.

"we need to get regular porn back on this website" feels like a modern day "op check your carbon monoxide meter" joke. Shut up and sexualise the object, NOW
heres ur chance to like an unlike and like a posts bc the pride flag thing is satisfying
I tried adding more tags. Not all of them have a flag. Still fun to see the ones that do waving
ever since i was a little girl i knew i was doomed to take things too seriously and think about them forever
Note as someone who has visited and driven in most of the 48 lower contiguous states of the 50 small countries in a trenchcoat that make up the USA;
The drivers of all states suck, of course, this is a given. HOWEVER. There are some very special places that stand out among these. In order of how in fear for my life I was.
3. Houston. Drivers in Texas in general treat speed limits as a lower limit for how fast you should be going and the drivers in Houston show no regard for life or limb.
2. Atlanta. The drivers of Atlanta do not fear death for themselves and would rather you both die than let you merge.
Fucking. New Jersey. If I never drive I-95 or the Turnpike again I will die happy. You've never known fear until you see someone neglect to use turn signals and Jersey Slide through 4 lanes of near bumper to bumper 80 MPH traffic and cut in front of you to make their exit as you slam the brakes on and miss rear ending them by about half an inch.
On the flip side, the BEST driving I've ever seen? Suprisingly, New Orleans. Now, I went NOT during Mardi Gras, but I found the drivers there to be courtious and cautious with a very few exceptions. 10/10.
Atlanta is absolutely true but personally my least favorite is Charlotte, NC. Fucking hate that city anytime I drive south
Neither of you have driven in Seattle and it shows.
NO NO NO FUCK SEATTLE THATS A GREAT POINT.
Thank fuck I've never driven but I've been a bunch and fuck your so right.
I lived in the US South for the first...mmmnnh, 3/4ths of my Life. Lived in Atlanta for a solid decade. Have driven in Nashville (had to navigate that on a 2in x 2in RandMcNally road map one time, pre-GPS era so that was fun), Memphis, Birmingham, Florida*, Detroit, Richmond, and pretty much most of the Eastern Seaboard. Then I moved to the Pacific Northwest and Washington state. FUCK SEATTLE.
I'm honestly THANKFUL for my years in Atlanta for honing my defensive driving skills to the point where I am unphased by the absolute self important pricks that think they know how to drive up here and I only just burst into colorful cursing every time I watch a near miss (and I also take perverse glee in living up to the above post "Atlanta drivers would rather you both die than let you merge" because if you do NOT have a turn signal on, I physically watch you speed up to try and cut in front of the line AND you pretend not to know how to zipper merge? I'm sorry, my car is paid off and let me see you TRY motherfucker).
So yeah, Seattle is its own special hell and deserves to be on the list as well. * - for anyone International reading this, I put down Florida state as its own generalization rather than listing any specific city because I have not driven in any major cities down there (closest I got was Tampa, but that's like New Orleans level of Good Drivers, so I wasn't fussed when I was there) and I am also dunking on Florida in general.

health isn't a virtue.
people still go around acting like they've done something good in order to be able bodied and healthy. that they worked for it, that it's due to their moral fibre or good upbringing or self control. they genuinely, on some level, believe that they are a good person solely based on the strength of their physical abilities. they will resist the fact that it is largely down to chance that they were able to maintain such health. whatever they think they've built from scratch, the building blocks were already handed to them. not because they're more worthy of it, just by luck. and they really think they're worth more based on that sheer luck. i've met disabled people worth a hundred of the healthiest ableds alive.
Ignoring luck is dumb, but claiming that health is entirely based on sheer luck is an extremely corrosive worldview. There are dozens of choices you make every day, every week, every month that contribute to your overall health and functioning. It's good to be healthy and it's good to make healthy choices and you do in fact have a lot of control over whether you are able bodied.
sounds like someone is mad you don't have a lot of control over whether you are able bodied
I love people like that, whatever helps you sleep at night. It's just an extension of "good things happen to good people", completely erasing the infinite ways that's not entirely true.
(Don't read under the cut if paranoia and/or existentialism is something you struggle with)
