I recently lost my job due to a sudden flare up of anxiety making it almost impossible for me to leave the house, let alone actually go to work. My mental health has been shoddy at best for a few months, but it’s gotten worse in the past few weeks. I’ve been out of work for days at a time and finally my employer decided enough was enough. Between rent, my dog, food, and the prospect of moving, I don’t think I actually have enough money right now to keep myself afloat. Enter, commissions! 

I’m offering 3 types:

- Sketch: Just a basic doodle, cleaned up but a little messy. No color - might have some basic shading if I feel like it. $5-$7 depending on complexity. 

- Basic: Still a bit messy. Linework plus flatcolor+some basic shading and simple background. $10-$15 depending on complexity.

- Detailed: Full commission, including background, linework (or lineless), color, shading, highlights, etc. Can be complex or simple, can be realistic or semi-realistic (customer’s choice!). There’s no flat cost for these since they can vary so greatly, but I charge about $12/hr and pieces take me 3-6 hours on average. 

I work in Photoshop CS and occasionally take art into Lightroom for post production adjustments. Size is up to the customer, I can work big or small.

I’m best at animals but there’s very little I wouldn’t try. Ask if you’re uncertain. c:

There have been many debates on both sides of the fence regarding the protein content of raw diets. Many people proclaim that raw diets are extremely high in, if not nearly all, protein. Others maintain that because of its water content, raw is actually low in protein. 

The truth is, the answer lies somewhere in the middle. Lets take a look:

They seems like a pretty reputable breeder, and I know folks who own pups from there. Not sure what their buyer screening process if like, but here’s more information on what differentiates a good from a bad breeder of wolfdogs.As for what to expect: That’s really hard to say. Some wolfdogs are fine with new people and places, so are easy to socialize from a pup; others are terrified to leave their comfortable home environment. Positive reinforcement training methods will be vital to raising a well-adjusted and well-behaved woofer.

Since it’s really a mixed bag, let’s just say that you end up with a pup that is not an easy keeper, because that is certainly a possibility to consider. If you are of the mindset of, “Well, my pup won’t be that bad!” but end up with one that is, life if going to be hell for both of you.Before you even get your woofer, know that containment is a MUST. It’s got to be solid from the start - no, “We’ll see if our pup respects privacy fence, and if he manages to escape from that, upgrade to horse fencing, and then cattle panel, and then add in a dig guard, and later a hot wire when he/she learns to escape all of those upgrades!” That’s the same as wishfully thinking that your pup won’t be “that bad”. Always expect the worst, because you might just get it when it comes to these animals! Wolfdogs, even low-contents, are supremely smart, and are highly-adept escape artists; it’s one of the defining features of the breed. When we first got Jude, containment was an issue for us, because we wrongfully believed his breeders’ statements that “my dogs aren’t *really* wolfdogs!” and assumed, as a result, that if our fencing could contain a high-octane working-line GSD, it would be just fine for him. Turns out, if your yard cannot contain a one-ton bull, it cannot contain a determined low-content wolfdog. They climb, they dig, they chew, and they can learn how to unlock doors - so forget leaving your pup at home alone unattended while you go to work or go out to run errands. Unlike domestic dogs, which can learn right from wrong after a few training sessions and then only need occasional reminders to keep them on track, wolfdogs will constantly test you, and you will constantly need to keep up with their training. The trick is making them excited about doing the right thing, instead of scaring them into doing it through force and physical corrections. Again, positive reinforcement training is important for this reason! Wolfdogs are not legal in all 50 states, some require special veterinary care because they are classified as “exotic animals”, and many need a specific diet. I feed Jude a Prey Model Raw diet, and bring him to a vet with verified wolfdog experience. I also live in a wolfdog-legal area of the State. Other things to consider: Wolfdog are mouthy and can cause serious injury during what they think is “just play”. I’ve had deep tissue bruises from Jude. Some folks encourage owners to dissuade woofers from being mouthy altogether, but mouthiness is a form of communication for this breed that can be controlled without being eradicated.

Owning a wolfdog can raise your insurance rates. It can also mean that you lack certain legal protections that normal dog-owners have.
