At first, there was a sleeping head - and the customer said “Let there be eyes!”.

But the head just turned into Hole-y McHolehead - And the artist said “let there be space for the eyes!” - so spaces there appeared, made with a mighty Dremel.

But the holes were too small for big 14mm eyes, so the Dremel had to be used again and again - to make the holes more round, to give them shape, to bring them to life.

Now, kids trying to get into the hobby don’t do their research, or get duped into buying fakes. Or worse, intentionally buy the fake because “fairyland will still eat”. I’m not naming names, but we all know, there were a handful of “popular” doll owners who told these newbies where to get their knockoffs. Now basically every third damn doll on the tag is a fake. People post things like “I’m recast neutral uwu” or “I’m not a bully”. Now educating people or telling them why they’re wrong to support art theft is bullying? Give me a fucking break.

I miss the days where artists were respected. Do anti-artists just see them as machines to make the sculpts they want and then rip off?? I think so. People who knowingly purchase recasts just don’t care. They don’t care to know. They just want their status doll, their “Venitu” or “Chloe”, or “Soom 1/3” and tag it so the doll owners can see it and even reblog it?? Like it??

Please, if you want to join the hobby, there are so many legitimate ways to do so. The secondhand market, when I bought the majority of my beloved dolls, is going to collapse. Artists will eventually get fed up and stop releasing their sculpts (it’s happened and will happen again). But there are so many well priced new dolls, in miriad of colors and sizes to choose from.

If you’ve ever reblogged an artist’s post about how Hot Topic stole their drawing for a t-shirt design, you shouldn’t support recasts. If you’ve ever reblogged an artist’s post about why they can’t afford to do commissions for free, you shouldn’t support recasts. “Friends, because of one of my photos there was an unpleasant situation in the BJD (Ball Jointed Doll) community. My friend, talented artist Georgy Ramensky was accused of not doing his own dolls himself, but buying from somebody 3d-maker Ivan Plastmanska, i.e. I have. 

Our cooperation lasts about a year. During this time, I was organized work of complex technical equipment, taking into account the specifics of printing master-models for dolls. Print master-models in a layer-by-layer fusing method (FDM). To improve the quality of master-models introduced in the production of photopolymer 3D-printing. 

All creative work, ideas from the general concept up to buttons on clothes of dolls belongs to Georgy. He independently models his ideas in Zbrush, I, in turn, continue to help with 3D-printing of master-models. Everyone is engaged in his own business, I’m technical support, all creative work is carried out by Georgy, this is his ideas, his models and his creativity.”

Ivan is not the author of the 3d model from this site: http://3dtoday.ru/market/games/toys/sharnirnaya_kukla_sharnirnye_sustavy/it is Sergei Shapovalov (PoToLo) who somehow got my very first model of Magdalena head and her hand. Everything else in this work has nothing to do with me (it’s not our Amadiz Angels body! My work is much more detailed and full another), but Sergei really used the model of the hand and head created by me. 

2 year (2015) ago I sent my hand and head files to many 3D printing companies to find out the cost of printing. Unfortunately, I could not imagine that my own files could be stolen and altered to sell. I bless God now that I sent to these 3d printing companies so few details, otherwise my full doll could be completely stolen by one of their employees. 

I filed a complaint on 3today.ru against Sergei Shapovalov and proved my authorship of Magdalena head, the 3D MODEL WAS DELITED by admininstration. once again I thank my customer for the fact that I was able to learn about this terrible situation and I can solve it.

All the screenshots of doll of my autorship I provided to the administration of Den of Angels, when we released Magdalena, these people know that I’m not lying. And it hurts me that someone could doubt my authorship. I put a lot of work and love into this doll and never deceived anyone.

People who hate us and have created a resource on anonymous tumblr to slander and insult any of our work, from Russia, they write an exceptional lie on their own resources to destroy our reputation, and not allow us to create dolls. They promised that they would destroy our company Amadiz Studio with the help of anonymous harassment. It’s very hart for us, but all we can do is do what we love, and never stop to make beautiful things.

It started 2 months ago after I made a confession in my personal russian online-diary that I’m a transgender, they began to offend me and call me mentally ill person. They created the special russian community and tumblr group dedicated to hatred for us and are cruelly persecuting, insulting me and my wife. They also accuse me of not creating my own dolls myself and all our wigs are defective, and clothes made from old dirty things. Although this is a lie. 

We suffered a lot of pain and shed many tears, seeing this lie and insults, but we were strong and decided that we would not react in any way to the terrible behavior of these people and their hatred, since we did not want any scandals. We earned a very good reputation for 5 years of unremitting work and never lied to our customers.

But now I can not keep silent and endure, this lie has gone too far. Nobody will dare to take from me the authorship of what I did with my own hands, for my dolls I will fight. I really need your help to stop the lies and slander. We want to be saved from these people until they ruined my life and took away the opportunity to make my dolls that I love so much. No one deserves such cruelty. I thank you for your support and I promise that I will never let you doubt our honesty.
