If it's true that Alicent tells Aemond she wished he was born first, woah, thanks a lot for saying you wanted Aemond to be burned and cripple so you could gladly offer him as sacrifice with no guilty conscience instead of Aegon*, since yk, Aemond was born as devil incarnate already with absolutely no influence of yours, or that feckesome potato sack who was his father, or Rhaenyra's lack of punishment for breaking the rules.

Well, after the rumors regarding Aemond this season I guess I'm gonna watch only Aegons episodes (and the Reach episodes because of Daeron but I will still have to put up with Alicent there, ugh) LOL
Like, obviously I knew they would find a way to insert the Alicent-Aemond thing, but I guess now that the season is just around the corner it finally hit me not like a joke we used to make back then, but something like "damn, this shit is actually happening".
Re-thinking here and I guess I'm not gonna watch it, apparently there won't be a single plot she won't participate in, so it's better I stay off this season before this character writing I once liked so much makes me become a first-rate hater.

It’s a marketing tactic, up until 2x08 Alicent was the figurehead of Team Green in advertising so this is continuing it. I know Olivia wanted to join the Blacks but I assume the show’s PR was too aware of how much backlash they’d get from TB fans if she’s seen with Emma and Matt.
If 2x08 hadn’t received the intense vitriol it did I’m sure Olivia would’ve been happily donning on a Team Black T-shirt instead lol.
A more hopeful part of me is also hoping her still being seen as a Green means there’s going to be a huge twist in 3x01 where it’s revealed Dragonstone was all part of Aemond and Alicent’s cunning plan.
Obviously it’s going to make 0 sense because we all know what they were really trying to achieve in the Season 2 finale, but a girl can still dream the writers accepted they made a huge mistake by trying to force Alicent into the Blacks and are thus attempting to backtrack 🤷🏽♀️

Me too, personally not a fan of this idea Alys is supporting the faction that slaughtered her entire family.
All I can think is that they needed to even out the cast so added to Gayle to Team Green just for marketing reasons.
Olivia has become an upgraded version of schroedinger experiment atp, but instead of "cat is alive/cat is dead" is "Olivia is TB/ Olivia is TG". And in a third space in-between which grows announcement after announcement: the "neither wants her regardless which one she identifies herself with" LMAO
