“ i struggle to draw a straight line if we’re being honest. i can do it if i have a straight edge to help guide me, but there’s no way i could just freehand it. i always feel like squidward in the episode of spongebob where he is trying to draw a circle and it just keeps coming out uneven. that is definitely me. eh, there’s so many components to music i think its possibly just as tough as mastering painting. ” sienna stated her opinion, a slight smile at the end as she nodded her head. “  weird? eh. i do think its weird how many glass houses are here in la. like damn, someone could easily throw a couple stones and they’re shattered ! i’m not sure if the aesthetics is worth it.  ”

“Straight lines are hard,” he shrugged, “So don’t feel too bad there. I remember that episode! Yeah, and everyone around you is Spongebob, where can draw a perfect circle and a perfect face and it’s just like -- how? And why? Why can a cartoon sponge draw better than I can? Life isn’t fair.” He let out an over dramatic sigh, nodding at her comment. “I guess so. It’s hard to get everything perfect. Still, I stand a better chance with music than art. But that’s why I’m not at... like... art school or something.” Grayson frowned. “Why would anyone even want a glass house? It’s like the three little pigs but with real life people.”

         “ haha no ? tavi told me she liked it. ” the blonde said before giggling, “ i meant– i don’t know what else i could possibly say. ”

“Tavi’s a better person than I am,” he laughed. “It wasn’t fun for me, anyway. If I was home schooled-- I don’t know, maybe I could have liked it. Oh. Got’cha.”

“Alright, okay -- I’ll try to work on something good. For you and my--... I still can’t grasp the idea that I have fans. It seems so weird to say. Crazy... but I’ll try, I promise. Maybe, I could probably talk them into it. I wouldn’t have to say a word, just point out a funny scene that was about to happen and before you know it, they’re three episodes in. It’s too easy to get sucked into, way too easy. Right. I’ll protect your secret with my life. Firstly, that’s a good thing, that’s one thing that makes you such a good friend. And secondly... actually, I don’t know what secondly is, you make a good point.”

        “ well, i don’t know about that, i never went to school, but i like to read. ” she nodded a little bit, slightly fascinated by the change of routine– which usually was her completely clueless. “ i mean, i don’t know what would qualify as cool. ”

“You didn’t miss out on much,” Grayson commented. “School isn’t fun. Far from it. Are you kidding? It’s the coolest thing. I mean, I’m not exactly a cool person. Quite the opposite, really, so that might not make you feel any better -- but I think it’s awesome.”

“ i once tried to paint the sky, but it turned out almost absolutely atrocious. that was the day i realized that i was probably more cut out for music and photography. definitely not painting         lucky for you outside isn’t all that far away. i mean, a couple steps and you’re practically there ! plus its available twenty-four seven.”

“Really? Stick figures have always been my strength when it comes to art,” Grayson grinned, a soft laugh rolling off of his lips. “Music and photography are good choices. Much easier to master, I think. At least for me.” Though he did love to draw and paint, he wasn’t exactly talented at it. “You’re right, I don’t have to go far. --- Isn’t it weird how we’re surrounded by the outdoors even when we’re inside?”

Phoenix pulled her phone from her pocket, taking a quick glance at the screen. “Five thirty.” She answered, her voice nearly inaudible for some apparent reason. She listened to him intently, nodding. “It’s never too late to leave the house, y'know. Get some fresh air, talk a walk — I don’t know if that’ll help but it’s a start, when it comes to situations like these.“

“Dang,” he sighed. “I really have been sitting here awhile.” He couldn’t remember when he started writing, but it had been much longer than he’d thought for certain. “That’s not a bad idea. Just stepping outside could help. Thanks. And thank you for not judging me.”
