brielle had been hoping there would be some leftover pizza in the fridge, although she knew not to get her hopes up too high. as expected, there was an empty box in the fridge, but no pizza. she jumped slightly, not having initially noticed him, looking from the smirk to the apple in his hand. “but apples have a bunch of good stuff in them, like dietary fibre and antioxidants and flavanoids and all that. i think they’re kind of underrated, really. a good, crunchy apple can make any day better.”

“fights that constantly involve the same people aren’t interesting, they just get boring.”
“i guess, yeah. i don’t really find fighting interesting, anyway. but i guess it means good reality tv?”
“that sounds great actually, i’d probably feel like an old timer sitting by a fireplace and drinking hot cocoa but i’ll take that over skiing and having snowball fights any day.”
“and then you have an actual excuse to stay in and watch netflix all day,” she nodded. “sounds better than getting wet socks out in the snow.”
