Finished up self illumination

I reread Frankenstein again lately and challenged myself to write a little critical analysis is 2 days. It was a bit bumpy in places but I’m trying to get practice in again before going back to uni.

Not really related to my art I guess, but I treated myself to some pens from toms studio for my birthday the other month. They feel very fancy, and while they are kinda expensive I’m looking forward to using my fountain pen inks more and trying to cut out more single use pens where I can.

References a picture of Mads because I had one to hand, I’m trying to figure out how I want him to look in my more realistic style. I don’t think this is quite it for me though.

I get the craving to animate like once every 8 months or so, maybe in 8 months time I’ll finish this one. I’ve got most of my key frames in though, I just need to smooth my transitions out and remember to animate the rest of the breathing.

I’m trying to get back into art, so I image bashed some things together to paint over for an eternal sugar cookie painting.

Still working on her, just taking quite a bit break. I think I made the file size/canvas too big so it’s taking me a little while. There’s so many pinks I have to keep exporting it to make sure the values actually work

I like the shapes here and the ideas I was having, I wanna finish this and I also want to try some variations. Maybe this will become some iterative works.

First 4 months of my 2026 clown animal calendar commission

I got another calendar request this year, which was very exciting. I’m really glad that people enjoy my work enough to return another year. 2026’s theme is circus/clown animals. Here’s January as a sneak peak - I’ll post more later in the new year, after I’ve delivered the calendar to my patron.

It’s been a while since I’ve done any kind of image bashing, but it was a nice change of pace.

Sunny was in the summer, but better late than never. I have this little tradition with my partner where I draw some of our cosplays hanging out. Sometimes they make for interesting friends or crackship types of things.
