Marley still couldn’t believe it, of all the people that had applied, she’d been chosen. She’d been the one that Rachel Berry had picked, she’d be her Personal Assistant; and while it wasn’t all that glamorous, she knew that even as a lap dog for the great Rachel Berry she’d learn so much. And she was ready and willing. She’d spent the week before her first day, scouring the internet, learning everything she could about Rachel Barry from her favorite colors to dietary restrictions and of course the way she took her coffee and she showed up with that very drink in hand as she met Rachel for the first day, a bright smile and nervous blush across her cheeks. “Good morning Miss Berry. I’m Marley, I’m your new assistant.”
Rachel had been incredibly successful since her Broadway debut as Fanny in the musical of her dreams, Funny Girl. She was right where she wanted to be in her career, a lot faster than she planned to be. Things had gotten so crazy, the paparazzi, the meetings, the rehearsals and the countless press interviews she felt it was only fair that she have a personal assistant to hep her through it all. But of course not just anyone would do for Rachel Berry. So, after interviewing over twenty people for the position Rachel knew it was a no brainer. Her last interview was with a cute girl named Marley. She saw a lot of potential in Marley and she was honestly just curious about the girl. Rachel walked into the talent agency that she had a meeting with and was greeted by her very timely new assistant. "Hiya, Marley!" The brunette said cheerfully. "I am so glad that you're here and you're early!" She said, impressed.
