Tbh I should have posted about this when I was in full creative mode.  I might miss some things I’m sure, but bear with me.

Most of this just kind of stems from a rp I had with @  where Roh and Mojito got into an argument and Roh told him had no personality other than being smart.  (which is just my own self-aware jab at canon) Mojito was angry at this but when he sat down and thought about it, he found that Roh was right.

Roh had pointed out that Mojito has all of this power but can do nothing but grant divinity with it.  Mojito concedes to that fact but counters with the fact that angels aren’t allowed to pick sides, to which Roh cannot understand why he wouldn’t be allowed to defend his own universe.  To why the powers to be would grant beings such power and make them so privy to being overthrown so easily in battle.  

To why the angels have such chains on them and how the fact that they are so strong means nothing.  That Mojito, in the end has nothing to fight for and no motivation. To which Mojito counters that is how things just are and how they’ve been since the beginning of creation.

Then Roh brings up the fact that he’s been stripped of being able to have a personality and that fault lies in the Grand Priest.  He proceeds to ask him if there’s anything he fights for, any sense of partiality at ALL, Mojito tries to defend himself and Roh tears him apart on it.

From here he goes into several rounds of introspection about himself and his position. I feel Mojito is very self-aware of what and who he is, even if that’s not necessary shown.  He knows of his position, and he’s more than aware of what a failure his universe is.

In many ways Universe Nine is set up to never really achieve balance with a kai and destroyer who’s attitudes should have been switched.  Mojito, over time grows more unemphatic and instead of trying to help he just lets everything fall apart, thinking that personal a universe that suffers so much would be better put out of it’s misery.

He accepts his failure as an angel who was once so prestigious he was given his own universe to command.  For all his superior intellect, something he was praised above his siblings for, he could not make it work.  

He tried and thus accepted his fate as a failure, and as a result inadvertently gave in to what he was supposed to be all along - a vessel with complete unbiased towards all around him.  Well, basically he’s just dead inside and mostly cold and when Universe Nine faces it’s destruction, he’s completely fine with it.

A lot of people don’t understand that morality is subjective and a true stance on gray morality means you see all sides equally and they cancel each other out with vices on both sides.

Mojito watched a revolt, angry that it was happening and he stood there and did nothing.  Do you know WHY? Because to act on either side violates the angelic laws of neutrality.  Angels can’t fight, fighting is taking a side.  It’s why Sidra was the one to just hakkai that shit away.

Sidra can fight. Sidra can take a side.  Mojito can’t.  Destroyers destroy. Supreme Kai create.  Angels are neutral.

People bypass the fact that Merus was sent to U7 to better understand and relate to the problems of the denizens, and that Grand Priest cares enough to exempt his children’s erasure during the tournament and no further it by saying he didn’t want any more angels to disappear when he found out Merus’ actions.  Vados was respectable when Champa was erased, Mojito is disappointed in his universe but smiles at the prospect of it being brought back.

So, that’s heartless to you?  

Neutrality by design is not heartless by design and it just really irritates me.
