Daredevil has heightened hearing senses because he’s blind. Sharp hearing is his superpower but it’s also shown as a hassle to deal with when he’s in loud spaces.

Donnie has been shown in numerous versions of TMNT that he get overstimulated with sound. He’s the only one of the brothers who wears headphones. (At least in Beyaverse, Rise and now Mutant Mayhem) The creators also stated that he is autistic in Rise of the TMNT. Auditory processing is common thing for autistic folk but it’s not always the case for everyone.

Emmet gets distracted with sound easily and doesn’t fully process what people are saying. The classic “Say the whole thing again I wasn’t listening.” Line always gets me every time and I feel stupidly represented for some reason. Most of the signs of his APD are shown through his dialogue, Another example is “Guys just tell me what to do…And how to do it.” Honestly any nerodivent kid has said this in school. (At least I have ;-;)

VENOM is an interesting fellow…He reminds me too much of myself and that’s a bad thing. When something is too loud, he doesn’t freeze up and shut down. No No No, He gets angry! When something is bothering him, his mindset is “I’m going to kill everyone in this room if they don’t shut up!” (Dw I haven’t killed anyone…yet) I really like how his anger is justified and it doesn’t try to show that he’s just some dramatic asshole. It physically hurts him to hear loud things and he becomes violent and stressed when he’s put in loud environments.
