challenging, but it helps a lot to stop treating skill as something you are either supposed to have or not have, which i think is a huge reason why i guess a lot of people wait for the right moment to get into whatever it is that they find appealing, and then never end up doing so. just like with anything that requires consistency, what you do becomes much more interesting and enjoyable when you stop looking at "it" as one enormous task and start looking at it as a series of teeny tiny problems. you deal with one, you learn how to get to the solution and onto the next. you do not necessarily even have to go in order, it's a huge grass field for you to explore like a little baby sheep. you already have curiosity and perhaps even appreciation for it (surely) so why not... that is good enough of a reason. consistency matters more than intensity and everything worthwhile is built through repetition. guidance and asking for help are of great importance as well so never hesitate to reach out to other people (forums are awesome especially if you cannot afford classes) and i 10000% stand by this but believe in your ability to teach yourself. take something that catches your eye, look it up, dissect it, wonder about it and most importantly be welcoming towards it and don't be in your head so much
