i want it, i got it

I’m more interested in hearing about the holiday, i’m sure it’s a million times more interesting than anything that’s been going on here. Winter makes this place dull as hell.

Well I mean anything with me involved is a million times more interesting. But the holiday was amazing, I got to go back to France, spend some time in Greece and Spain. It was amazing! I just couldn’t choose one place to stay in. Are the winters really dull here? Ugh I don’t know how I’ll get by. 

Can’t help you there. I’m not particularly invested in the lives of most people around here.

I mean that’s fair, there are must more fun things to focus on. But come on, you don’t like hearing about some gossip? 

You haven’t missed much with me. I’ve been pretty busy writing this novel of mine. As for everyone else, I’m not sure. I’ve never really thought of Gradian as a particularly exciting place, but it’s home. 

Oh a writer you say? How very interesting. If you ever need a muse for a story or a model for the cover of your book I’m just a call away. That’s fair, I knew it was dull coming in here but I was sure there could be some drama going on.

what have you missed?? YOUR BROTHER straight up being a knob, ask me which one I DARE you, because It could only be Patrick fucking Clarington, ex- best friend,  ex lover, ex father to our children, ex future husband, ex EVERYTHING, can you believe he’s about to be hitches?? married, straight up, AND I’m only the best man?? THAT IT WASN’T ME HE WAS DROPPING TO HIS KNEES FOR?? the audacity, I mean gross It would be a sexless marriage, and I’d be out here fucking Alastair on a day to day, possibly also Nathaniel, jury is still out on that though, can NEVER really tell if he’s going to be on of the three not so wise piglets, or the great big wolf ready to huff and puff and blow me in ALL the wrong ways. but back to you, and where tf did you go?? MOST importantly Carmen Clarington, did you bring back gifts? 

And I thought I was extra, I may have found my match. I would say how dare he miss out on someone so amazing but have you met Jackie? That girl is literal sunshine and pretty attractive. But I am loving all of this excitement, this is the kind of storytelling all gossip needs. You are so keeping me on my toes. I am glad you are still getting your attention though, you totally deserve it. Attention from two people? That sounds like the dream. I visited France, Greece and Spain, I couldn’t just stay in one place. Well of course I did! I always come with gifts. Just a little sad I didn’t get a huge welcome back party though. 

IAIN: I don't have anyone that I have my eye on. But I'm hopeful some single guy will come and sweep me off my feet. Or someone who wants a throuple or something. At this point, I'm kinda desperate to get back out on the dating scene.

IAIN: They truly are, and were so innovative for their time.

IAIN: I always have time for movies with you!

CARMEN: Ugh I feel all of that on a spiritual level! Of course sometimes I don't want to tie myself down but I am in dire need of a ton of attention. That is part of why I took a trip! Got attention everywhere I went. You need to come with me next time.

CARMEN: That is what makes it so much more enjoyable!

IAIN: I'm excited for you, honestly!

IAIN: I'm just watching some of the classic Universal Monsters movies to put me in the Halloween spirit.

IAIN: Red.

CARMEN: Anyone you have your eye on? I bet people are all over you!

CARMEN: Oh my gosh you have such great taste! The classics are obviously the best.

Asher: I was a little worried about the colour but you were right. It looked amazing!

Asher: Oh, I'll build up your ego whenever you want. Just say the word!

Carmen: Colors can be so intimidating! Especially since there is so much to think about. But that's what you have me for!

Patrick: You couldn't but I thought I'd double check.

Patrick: All of those sound amazing though! Let's go on an adventure!

Carmen: You are so so kind! But meetings and work can wait for time spent with you. We have so much time to make up for remember?

Mhm, gotta love those specific talents of mine, but I love your talents a lot more, though. Oh yeah?  You do make an excellent point, baby. I know, I know, but we no longer have to be away due to distance, and besides. If I do have to leave again, I’ll just take you with me, because you deserve to be treated like a queen, every day. I think its the fact that you can snuggle into my back while you sleep at night. Mhm, I truly do love it and you truly are, but it’s worth it.

Just talking about your talents makes me want to experience them as soon as possible. I am just full of great points aren’t I?  You always treat me like one, baby. One of the many reasons I adore you! I can never say no to traveling with you, we always make it such a great time. Just the fun we’ve had flying or driving...amazing. Okay...fair you got it. I’m such a sucker for it! 

Harley: haha I bet he is, have I told you that you're one of my favorite Clarington?

Harley: Great! Im looking forward to seeing your face, again!

Carmen: Omg well I should be or at least tied with Patrick!

And you know that I love it when you sing my praises about my talents. Right? Im sure it’s coming now, but if so, then Im going to say, ain’t my fault I was gone for a month or I’m a great lover. Mhm, I wouldn’t expect anything else. I know, and it’s good thing you don’t have a computer screen or a phone screen to block your ability to kiss me. Ha! Me? Bad Influence? Have you not met you? Babe, I’m literally a saint while I’m standing next to you. It is and good. I knew it.

I certainly do, especially when it comes to specific talents of yours. I think it’s going to have to be a combination of both. An amazing lover who was gone for far too long, they can’t blame us for wanting to make up for all that lost time. I know we were still able to have our fun but it just wasn’t the same. Being able to see you is just so much better. You know...you do make a fair point but you love it. You have to work hard for me to be on my best behavior. But maybe I’m rubbing off on you.

ELI: Seriously! I promise you I won't be kidding about this, ever.

ELI: Yass!

ELI: Well, I can share you the colors of our wedding and then go from there? I was thinking that I can go with sharp looking, but simple.

CARMEN: Yes please! Share the colors and any other themes you guys have.

CARMEN: I love taking in all the attention to detail.

That’s true. I think it would be hard for someone who is so extra to be with someone who isn’t really extra at all unless they find a way to balance it out. I never thought I would say this but I’m proud of Levi for getting married and making it stick. I’m sure it is!

I know Finn and I balance each other out so well. It is like we are a perfect match. I know not just anyone could handle my special kind of extra. It is great to know that more people are finding their happiness. That everyone has a person out there. One of the many I’m sure, I’m a total package. 

It’s insane. I watch it sometimes if it happens to be on when I’m channel surfing and I just can’t believe some of the drama that happens on a show about doctors. My life seems incredibly boring in comparison. Yes, I do think so. I know you could write about whatever and people would read it. Your mother sounds like a wise woman, much like her daughter.

I feel like it is one of those shows where they have to go above and beyond to keep people watching. How else can they keep it on for almost two decades now? I mean there must still be it’s own kind of excitement in the hospital though. You really are onto something! Imagine how many books I could make that would totally become best sellers. I think I need to start writing down all these ideas now. Maybe my mother and I could write one together. You are just so kind you know that right? 

The only other person who isn’t one of us four that is allowed to share the name is my mother because she had to put up with him for so many years. They’re beyond help really if they don’t feel honoured. Really? It’s been quite a while since I’ve been spoiled by anyone who isn’t Jackie so count me in! They are so great. I just remember so many wonderful things about her and other people should get a chance to know about them too. Of course we do.

I feel like she deserves all the rewards for just that alone. Trophies and awards in my opinion. Right? Not even worth the time. How they don’t see it is beyond me. Well my dear brother deserves it! I just love being spoiled thought I might as well share it with the people I care about. You are exactly right! You have to share all the stories! And to think I thought it would be fun to lead a life of jumping from one person to the next. Now that seems like forever ago.
